I LOVE Public Hardware! The nicest folks work there and they are always so helpful. They have everything you need there! And if they don’t, you don’t need it anyway!

Friendly people in a relaxed environment. It was a little busier than usual today so some people had to wait a while, but for FFL transfers, they've taken care of me right after stepping in the door. The owner, or the gentleman who seems to be the owner, is courteous and easy to converse with. If you're in a rush, it may not be the quickest, but for picking up FFL transfers, they've been great to work with. My go to for all my transfers for the foreseeable future.

Living in NJ during these unexpected times calls for unexpected measures.

We’ve been searching for a specific anti bacterial spray, but were unable to find it anywhere.
Lo and behold, it’s available in NC of all places!

I called and was told the young lady that handles orders would call me right back.

She sure did! I placed an order and received great customer service. I don’t know if it’s a southern thing or a Public Hardware thing, but I wish more businesses were run this way.

They definitely raised the bar and I look forward to ordering more from them soon.

If you turn a wrench or strike a nail on occasion, you owe it to yourself to visit Public Hardware. This is the kind of place that will never go out of style - even in the time of the big-box home improvement stores – because they have *exactly* what you need, in the quantities you need it.

I recently finished a 9,000-lb winch installation on my Jeep, and I needed an extra 4 Grade 8 washers to safely mount it; my options were Amazon Prime, where I’d pay a lot more for a package of 100 washers when I needed four, or making a trip to Lowe’s or Home Depot where I’d have a 25% chance of finding the right parts and probably have to settle for a lesser quality if I did. PH had exactly what I needed, and as I strolled the aisles I managed to find a few other items that I could use as well.

They’re the real deal.

It is a crime that this place is going out of business. There is no place else quite like it. Get down here while you still can, talk to these helpful people, experience these fascinating pieces of history, and take home something you aren't expecting. Time is short.

This hardware store has those old fashioned hard to find anymore items. From lamp oil to fireplace tools and just about anything else you can think of but can't find, they've got it. The friendly employees are helpful at solving problems too. Plenty of free parking right outside the door.

This is a good place to find those small parts that you won't find in any regular hardware stores. This is your good old fashioned hardware store. They sell just about anything that you're looking for. Great place! I will shop there again in the future!

Always seem to have what I need from replacement wheelbarrow tires to hard to find hardware fittings. Now are stocking some nice looking yard furniture. I like supporting local businesses.

Very friendly. Well stocked. If they dont have it, they will get it for you.I needed an obscure stove pipe, they ordered it and had it in 2 days time.

I go to public Hardware maybe 3 or 4 times a week and I think it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen they have anything and everything and even the jelly donuts are the best I've ever had there is so good I wish I could have them tomorrow

Buster and his son calls me little Kelly. My wife and I thinks the world of Buster. He is fair honest and funny. I hate seeing bad reviews because they go the extra mile to hep everone. Please show Public respect because they work hard to please everyone.

Best place to find just about anything that you can't find at the Home Depot or Lows. Great customer service with honest pricing.

These guys are the best. Been coming here for years...they always seem to have what I need, especially when the big box stores don't. Family run business for generations.
