Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Durham Airport Morrisville

Pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel was! We have not stayed with this hotel chain before so we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. The hot, free breakfast was good too. I wish the shower had a little stronger water pressure, but I’d still definitely stay here again!

Rooms are spacious, they give you all your needs as in cooking wear, beds are soft, dog walking area with baggies in case you forget only thing I don't like is when you put your towels out front you have to go all the way to desk to get new stuff and they don't always give you what you need for towels and stuff. You can schedule when to have your room cleaned overall a pretty nice place.

Very nice room. Like a small apartment. Great free breakfast also. Check in was easy and staff friendly. Only issue was on check out day. A staff member tried to come in without knocking. He did not speak English. It was apparent he wanted to collect the trash. However, it was not time for us to be out of the room. We gave him a bag of trash and he left. Otherwise a great place to stay.

This was the perfect hotel for our stay. My parents, my sister, and I traveled to Raleigh for a Celebration of Life for a family friend. I loved that the hotel was so close to the airport. We also absolutely loved the room/suite. It was very spacious with the living room/kitchen and two good-sized bedrooms, each with it's own shower, bathroom, and sink area. The workers at the desk, maintenance, and housekeeping were all extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Felicia at the desk was especially kind. The breakfasts each morning were "grab and go." You had to let the front desk know what you wanted (choice of a breakfast sandwich with pork or turkey sausage, yogurt, orange or apple juice, water, granola bar, and hard boiled eggs). The only complaint I have is that there weren't enough dishes (only 4 plates, 4 bowls, and 4 forks) and only one large pan and one large pot, and no large bowl to make a salad. If they added dishes, silverware, and other sized pots/pans/bowls, this would be a perfect review. Oh, and the pool!! The pool was so nice! We bought $3 floats from Walmart which was 10 minutes away and spent a day floating in the pool (up to 5 feet deep).

Very nice hotel, we got a super comfortable suite with a full kitchen. The breakfast buffet was delicious, my son and I enjoyed so much. The service was very good. We will be staying again with this hotel, 100% recommended 👍🏼

The Best Hotel Experience I’ve Had in a Long Time

This is where you want to stay! I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. I just checked out a 9-day stay and it was WONDERFUL. The rooms are clean and spacious. The rooms, buildings and grounds are meticulously clean. The amenities are in great shape.

But the element that raises this hotel from good to stellar is, without a doubt, the staff. These folks show such immense care and respect for their guests. They worked hard to be sure we had an exceptional experience at the hotel. Everyone was so personable and engaging. They treat the guests like family (family that they actually life!) and clearly take pride in their work.

I would mention everyone’s name if I could . Huge recognition should go to Kim Hodge, Felicia Satterfield, Malika Rafu (spelling may be wrong here, sorry). The jewel in this hotel’s crown, though, is Angela Smith. I witnessed her treating so many people with respect, grace and understanding. She was so kind and friendly to absolutely everyone. It was heart-warming to witness.
My husband and I decided we will be staying at this hotel every time we come back to the area. I encourage you to try it as well.

The room was very clean and updated. Breakfast was great and a special shout out to Felicia who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She is a tremendous asset to the Sonesta brand

Angela is an absolute angel! Management, listen, this lady is treasure, and do whatever you have to do to keep her as the face of your hotel.

We arrived at almost 1am, and she was a welcoming as a grandma that hasn't seen you in years. When we came down for breakfast at almost 10am, she was still there with the same warm smile and was overly pleasant. She went well above what is expected and was the highlight of our short stay.

The room was great, the bed was comfy, and i couldn't complain if i tried to. Will stay again.

Clean room would stay again. There is no trace of bugs (we thoroughly searched). Free breakfast. Hard to complain about much of anything.

Great place for a family to stay at for a few nights. We traveled with our 1 year old toddler and it was the perfect set up for us. The staff were friendly and helpful, specially Nick at the front desk. We didn't fly out until later in the evening on our last day so he was able to book us for a late check out up until 4:00PM for an extra $45. We actually only needed to stay until almost 1:00PM so it ended up being only $30. When traveling with babies and toddlers, they need that morning nap so I'm thankful Sonesta ES Suites was able to accommodate us!

Sonesta ES is the definition of a home away from home. The rooms come with a stove top and a kitchen fully equipped with everything you'll need to cook a meal. The rooms are impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. Along with a 5 ft deep pool, the hotel has a basketball court, grilling area, and fire pit. To top off the amazing rooms and awesome amenities, the staff is outstanding. They go above and beyond to make sure your are comfortable and have everything you need. In particular, I've checked in with Kim and Angela and they are amazing. Overall I give this hotel a 10/10, would DEFINITELY recommend!

Angela at the front desk is the best human, kind hearted and the most helpful person I have ever come across since I landed here in the USA. She was a life saver for me and my family while we relocated and stayed at the Sonesta during our temporary stay here. Guided us well and helped at right times.

Definitely would recommend Sonesta only for Angela because when there is a person who takes better care of you at the front desk , everything else falls into place.

Excellent hotel. Great breakfast. Courteous staff. Sqeeky clean to say the least.

The staff was very accommodating to our need. Came to Morrisville NC from 4 hours away to have surgery. Stayed for 3 days 2 nights. The staff made sure I had a room close to the entrance and extra pillows for elevating my extremity after surgery. The environment was peaceful so I was able to rest and relax comfortably. The Sonesta made my first 24 hours post- op wonderful.

We stayed overnight at Sonesta Select before our flight from RDU to MIA for a 5-day cruise. We were able to park our car here and they provided a shuttle to and from airport. The hotel staff was very efficient and their response on our return was excellent. The rooms are very clean and pretty. We will definitely use this hotel for all our travel needs from this area. They treat you like family.

Free shuttle runs 24/7. Awesome perk. Buy room using 3rd-party to save $$$. I paid $77/night on a Thurs.

Very nice rooms. The bathrooms actually have shelves in the shower that are functional! They even have shelves in the sink area, this is a great touch, I want to thank you so much for that! Clean and everything looks new. I'm ready for hotels to bring back breakfast though! They do need do not disturb signs for the doors, but I think they will get these soon as they are a new brand. I loved the large TVs in the room. The staff was nice and friendly as well as professionaL. Guest access to the lobby would be great from the courtyard area, but the door was always locked and you had to walk all the way around to the main front door. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will be back even though there were some terrible guests that kept us awake all night having a party.

Love this place so much I became member when I travel to RDU I’m staying here so comfortable love front desk.

Just checked in today and they upgraded me because of rewards programs. I had asked for a room with extra bed or pull out sofa and they gave me a 2 BR suite because I told her a family member may have to crash. Everyone has their own private bathroom now, and privacy.

The courtyard area is awesome with tables and chairs and benches and that's not in the actual pool area. I will post pics tomorrow.

The room is super clean, and looks to be brand new. The beds are awesome and so comfy, not like normal hotel beds. The bathrooms have actually shelves on the wall to put your stuff so it doesn't clutter the counter, because hotels have such small counter space as it is.

I'm Definitely going to be booking here again in the future visits. I have stayed at several of the hotels around here and NONE of them come close to the quality I have seen and experienced here so far.

Always a great stay with Sonesta. I’ve stayed in this hotel on several occasions and the staff has always been super accommodating. My technicians always stay here when they come to Raleigh for business. The rooms are great, they have comfy beds and microwaves.
