Carolina Ranch goes above and beyond to provide amazing care to you and your pet at every single opportunity. At our first appointment, Dr. Bauer saved my dog's life by diligently reviewing his medical records and finding a bone tumor. We were able to amputate the affected leg and do several months of rehab at Carolina Ranch. This morning, I discovered a mass on my dog's chest and became quite concerned given his history of cancer... Carolina Ranch was able to work me in with Dr. Blackmer despite it being a fully-booked Saturday and only a few hours before closing time. This meant the world to me as Hamilton was able to get care quickly and I now don't have to spend my weekend worried sick.

The entire staff is so warm and welcoming, with many even knowing my dog by name. They are always patient with my (occasionally nervous, very "quirky") dog to make sure that he's comfortable with any exercise or procedure. My dog even has friends on the staff (Miles, Drew, Ally, Kristina, and Vanessa come to mind!) that he recognizes and gets so excited to see.

We live up to an hour away from this hospital but it is always more than worth the drive. Every single experience we've had with Carolina Ranch has been stellar and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for a veterinarian.

The BEST place to take your family pet! I have been bringing my Standard Poodle here since she was 10 weeks old. Her excellent health, coat and training are all due to Dr. Beth Bauer, Sam VanderDrift groomer, Lynn Rives & Catherine professional trainers. They have taught me so much about keeping my spirited pup in tip top shape both physically and mentally. The front of the Ranch staff are all so friendly, taking time to get to know both me and Bunny, while efficiently attending to other clients. Thank you Ranch Team!

Daycare is excellent! Staff is super friendly and attentive. I feel so at ease dropping my dog off. And the hours are excellent! I can drop off as early as 7 AM and almost always they come out to the car to get her. And I can pick up as late as 6 PM and again they come out to me I don't even have to get out of my car it's so convenient! also had the ability to have her get groomed while she was at daycare. During her grooming session they noticed an issue with her ears Of they gave me a phone call and asked if I wanted the vets to look at her and treat her if necessary. They were so thorough, and did not want to step on the toes of my current veterinarian. Not pushy at all! Also offered some helpful information as far as her training is going as they do offer it but I already had somebody in place before I found them for daycare. Again not pushy at all just really really helpful! I highly recommend this place

We have senior girl and a new 13 month old pup, and both were treated with so much love and care!
I really appreciated that the vet spent a lot of time with us and we didn’t feel rushed at all!

Our long-haired mini dachshund Mandy had a herniated disc two days after having my entire shoulder replacement. The Ability to deal with both my issues, and Mandy‘s was going to be quite an issue. We were delighted to find Carolina Ranch and from the very first person that we met all the way through until meeting the doctor and each of the technicians that she would be working with & the types of things that she’d be working on. We had no issue boarding Mandy for a week physical therapy. We have had her home now for two weeks, and are making incremental but significant steps towards her being 100% again. I would recommend Carolina Ranch time and time again - if they were closer to us I would also do daytime boarding there as well.

Dr Zurowsky is always extremely kind, informative, patient and offers amazing care for our fur babies. She makes the visits something that our fur babies never fear or stress going to. She also does not rush us and answers all of my million questions! Highly recommended her 😊

Carolina Ranch is a 100/10 in my book! Our dog needed TPLO surgery from TVSS and our vet was unable to get him in for a month (because TVSS travels and Thanksgiving threw off the schedule). It also just so happens we had vacation planned before he tore his ACL and we weren’t able to pick him up right after surgery and Carolina Ranch boarded him and did all of the post surgery physical therapy and walks that he needed. They called us everyday to give us updates and sent a couple pictures too. He was stressed and not eating and they did EVERYTHING (including making him chicken and giving him cheese!) to get him to eat. We are soooooo grateful for the vet techs and Dr. Perry for going above and beyond. We cannot thank each and every one of you for taking care of our sweet boy while we were gone.

Our dog is so excited to go the doggie day care at Carolina Ranch that when he sees a staff member coming to get him from the car he jumps around and wags his tail. He never looks back as he goes inside. He wags his tail and leads the way. He loves a great day with his dog friends and the staff. It’s nice to know he is having a great time whenever we take him to Carolina Ranch!

This is my first experience with Carolina Ranch and I could not have asked for a better one. I brought my bullmastiff General Jackson in for a visit and Dr. Rachel Blackmer was very knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable with her. I would highly recommend this vet because of the personalized care they provided and how they made the first experience a great one!

I have one of THOSE dogs. She’s a diva, she doesn’t like you to look at her, she’s a fear biter, she doesn’t get along with other dogs, she doesn’t want her paws touched and the list goes on and on…
We moved here 3 years ago and Carolina Ranch has been an absolute dream to work with. Every single employee from the front desk to the groomers and vets are so kind and caring. They listen to me and put my mind at ease because I am fearful of my dog with strangers- (all of her “rules” and the fact that she does have a bite history). There’s never been an incident in any of her appointments. Carolina Ranch literally saved my dogs life when she accidentally ingested a medication that could have easily taken her from me. Their communication with myself and each other is beyond expectation and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a place to truly feel comfortable with fur family to establish a relationship with them immediately. It’s like we are their only client- when obviously they run an extremely large scale one stop shop for all pet needs.

Vincenzo "Vinny" goes to Dogwarts daycare and loves it. He was a rescued at 6months old so he had some insecurities and fears. He was so curious but very cautious about new things. Carolina Ranch Dogwarts took their time and gave him so many opportunities to learn to love doggie daycare and we are so thankful. In fact, he loves it so much now that he doesn't even want to go home when come to pick him up which doesn't hurt our feelings one bit. We are so thankful he has another safe space. The employees are fabulous, so friendly and kind.

We have been to ‘ The Ranch’ for Veterinary, grooming and training services spanning over a year. We have 2 Newfoundland dogs, a Newfiedoodle and a Pekingese. Everything has been great. I can’t say enough about the grooming services. We bring all three big dogs at the same time and they don’t blink. Vanessa is worth her weight in gold. All three of the doctors we have seen have been wonderful with the dogs and with us. Training went absolutely great, very easy and effective. I highly recommend them!

Carolina Ranch is a beautiful clean facility with very nice staff . Dr.Baer is very welcoming, it was our first visit and we are very happy with our experience.

I can’t say enough AMAZING things about the staff here!! I feel at ease as soon as I walk through the door when they greet Champ! Highly recommend their resort stays. So many choices to keep your pup happy while you are gone. The vet services are highly recommended as well.

I've been bringing my pups to see Dr. Bauer since we moved into the area in 2017 and am so happy with her. She's thoughtful and truly concerned about the health of my pups. I never feel pressured to get services or add-ons they don't need, just good care to keep them healthy.

November 2024 our fur baby, Annie, was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer.
On March 1, 2023 Annie’s eyes did her talking. She told us that she was in pain and out of energy to keep us happy.
March 1, 2024, Dr. Baer & the staff scheduled an urgent appointment to help relieve Annie from her pain and to allow her pass peacefully.
Not only was the staff responsive, caring and professional, but they gave us the time we needed and were understanding to our requests.
I cannot give Dr. Baer and staff a better compliment other than Thank you for being so understanding.
I also want to compliment Dr. Oliver for the diagnosis and advice..
My pets are my family and I say, with no hesitation, I received better care from Carolina Ranch then I do for my elder parents Doctors.

Carolina Ranch is a stunning facility offering everything you could want to care for your dog. The staff is extremely professional yet caring and genuinely friendly too. Dr. Z has a knack for breaking down technical information so you can understand it, but her intelligence shines through all she does. They are very patient with questions and concerns. They even have fun events like "Puppy Picasso!"

I have been taking my fur babies to the Carolina Ranch for several years. Before he passed away, Soncho had been to daycare, the Sassy Senior program, grooming, boarding, and vet services. Spencer Reed has the pleasure of being a guest at the kitty condos on several occasions and is the recipient of excellent vet care. I am very pleased with the staff and the facility. The care is top notch and the staff take the time to get to know Spencer Reed each time he visits. Excellent value for the cost. Would highly recommend.
