Collierville Compounding Pharmacy

I found hard some really hard to find vitamins at the Collierville Compounding Pharmacy. The pharmacist even looked into ordering a larger supply of the vitamins for me. They also have a good supply of face masks, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and paper towels. Shopping here is a great way to support a small, local business.

I called this pharmacy b/c in middle Tennessee, they’re apparently out of ivermectin (though only the compound pharmacies are for otc orders…prescription seems to be unfazed). So I called this pharmacy and asked if they had ivermectin, which they do. I asked how much it cost. I was given a number. I commented, that’s kind of high. She commented that it comes out to almost $4/pill which isn’t that bad. So, after confirming twice with her both the price and the availability, I drive three and half hours, only to get told when I get there that I was told wrong and the charge is $100 more than what I was told. You’d think someone answering the phone would know the cost, or at least ask someone who does. But instead, I was misinformed, even after specifying and asking again just to make sure (because I was about to drive three and half hours one-way just to get it) only to be told when I got there that he didn’t hear the phone conversation so he couldn’t speak on that. I was very upset since I’ve just recently lost my job which is why I drove all that way, because gas money was still cheaper than a trip to the doctor without insurance. I’m very disappointed in this pharmacy and the only reason I am giving them two stars is because they did actually have the medicine and did sell me it…at least, I hope that’s what they sold me. I have very little confidence in them and would not recommend them to anyone based on this experience. Both people I spoke with were polite and sounded professional, but the significant disparity of the discrepancy completely undermined their professionalism.
