Lavish Hair Spa

I could not have found Lavish soon enough! After moving to Chapel Hill in July 2012, I salon-hopped for a while but was never completely satisfied with my hair. Thankfully, with the help of Yelp, I discovered Lavish. I had a great consultation with Kito, and made an appointment the following week. She is skilled, professional, and wants the best for clients' hair (whether you're relaxed, transitioning, or natural).

This was my first visit to this salon (moved here recently) and I was impressed with Kito's professionalism and the salon's appearance. It's very beautifully decorated with ample space. She did a wonderful job on my hair (got a blow out, trim, & flat iron style), but it was very expensive (more than $80), which is entirely too much for me (I am natural and my old stylist would do the same WITH a deep conditioner for ~$60). If you're natural & price isn't a factor, I would recommend this salon, hands down.

Hi google peeps - I wanted to share my LAVISH experience with you guys!!! First let me say Kito is an amazing and true Hair stylist and true professional. I can say to all the naturalista's out there RTP I know the struggle of being a natural newbie and going through the journey of the transition and the big chop!!! I made the mistake of going to someone who was in a rush and did not care how my hair looked nor what products to use. I found Kito and she did an amazing job with my natural hair. I had a weird bright ugly color in my natural hair and it was dry and fuzzy looking... "I know right" Yes ladies I felt like I was walking around looking a hot natural mess... I found Kito and we texted back and fourth and she was super amazing she never skipped a beat as far as professionalism. When I walked in and was greeted she set me @ her station and talked me through the process and made sure I got a good experience and a quality hair style. She took my ugly bright color and dyed it back to a dark brown color and it looks like the mishap never happened. My natural hair looked not better but great... It's smooth looks healthy and I walked out feeling amazing and confident to be natural and not awkard anymore. She talked to me and answered all my questions. She never acted as if she was in a rush nor rude. She is amazing and a true professional. If you are looking for someone good is going to help you get back on track with your hair she is the one who can help. Good luck out there naturalista's in the RTP area!!!!

Kitchen did an amazing job with my daughter's hair. Her care, attentiveness and ability to educate clients on proper hair care is second to none.

I have been a client of Lavish Hair Spa for over 12 years and my hair is healthy thanks to the professional care by owner Sabrina Finch and her stylists: Janay and Andrene. Janay is my primary stylist and I love the way she coil and twist my hair. Patricia

I have been to this salon twice and both times were very relaxing and I loved my hair. Healthy styles that I can take care of myself and look nice, everyone is so nice and I will continue to visit!
