Lepakshi Indian Cuisine

I ordered food from Lapakshi several times but this was the first dine-in experience and it was excellent. The Non-Veg thali is one of the best in Triangle area. It had 4 different non-veg dishes along with 4 veg, rice sweet pudding and papadam. Some might feel it a bit costly but the quantity is more than what a single person can eat.
We also order kadai Paneer and it was delicious too.
The owner was super polite and even suggested stopped us from order another dish explaining that the food we ordered already was more for two.
Overall, a very good experience and I'd go again.

I have been visiting this restaurant frequently for couple of weeks now for breakfast which has been pretty good. Tastes very authentic South Indian. Had a Vegetarian Thali yesterday, which was pretty good as well in terms of taste and more than enough portion was served.

2. Every food preparation we tried was simply delicious.
3. Entree portions are adequate.
4. Quality is maintained.

This has become our favorite goto indian restaurant in the area.

Tasty and flavorful food is served here. Not like other Indian restaurant having typical bland taste. This restaurant dishes has perfect balance of spices due to which the food is perfect in hotness and fantastic flavor. I had gonna for buffet, I could see the food pans getting over sooner. Since people were liking it, as I did. I wish them best of luck.! Hope they maintain their current taste and flavor of the food.

The best Indian comfort food in Triangle Area. Non-Veg Thali is my personal favorite.

Placed an online order and was ready for pickup. Ordered Veg Uttappam, Butter Naan, Paratha and Navratan Kurma. As you can see the order had North & South cuisine dishes. All the food was very tasty. We were very impressed. Would not hesitate a bit to order my next one. Keep it up!

A colleague at work wanted to taste authentic Indian cuisine, and we decided to try Lepakshi. Luckily for us, dine-in option was available. No lunch buffet (yet!). So we ended up ordering a few South Indian chicken dishes. Amazing authentic food. Thoroughly enjoyed.

We are from out of town and we don't have many Indian restaurants that are authentic South Indian cuisine. This is the best Indian place I have ate in a while. Very authentic very telugu. Portions are huge and prices very reasonable. One Thali enough for two people. We will be regulars here whenever we visit Raleigh . Definitely want to try their breakfast menu next time.

I read the reviews and had concerns about going here for breakfast . So I called them and they assured me that they will take good care of us and food will be great. I am glad I went as the breakfast experience was awesome !!! Food came out quick for 9 of us and was really good !! Will definitely come back for the breakfast experience . Look right now staff is short everywhere in NC. So just talk to them if u have concerns and be patient :-)

Though we didn’t notice any staff shortage when we went .

I have tried almost all the Indian Restaurants or Eateries in and around Cary Apex Morrisville but this place is a class apart.
5 stars on food - near perfect home cooked food with a perfect blend of spices.
5 stars on presentation - even if you are stomach full, you would still want to eat again
5 stars on Customer Service - Nice phone etiquette and polite servers.
if given a chance then I would give them an extra star for overall service. Please keep up the good work

One of my to go place for Indian food. In last few months, I tried their Non-veg Thali, Bhatura & Channa, Roti & Gongura Goat Curry, Curry Leaves Chicken (dry version), Dosa/Masala Dosa.
Every time they had kept a great standard in service & quality of food.

Last week after watching Family Man 2, we were craving for Dosa and decided to visit this place. We visited a bit late, around 9.30 pm and to be honest, didn't have high expectations. We had a Mysore Masala Dosa and a Cheese Dosa and those were amazing. Exactly what we were craving for, far beyond our expectations. Specially the sambar was simply WAO!! The portions are very filling, and at the same time you don't feel too heavy, which is really good.
We are planning to visit this place at least once a month for next couple of months to try other items of their long menu.

My takeout experience has been nothing short of amazing, and it's a huge bonus that they're open later in the evening. I much prefer this place over Dharani for takeout.

Their dosas and biryani are really tasty - highly recommended.

This is new restaurant replacing an existing pure vegetarian restaurant at this same place. The food is different from other Indian restaurant buffets for a saturday lunch buffet that we went to. The chefs have tried to develop flavors instead of simply stuffing every dish full of hot spices. Such flavorful rice in the goat pulav (very minty with a hint of garam masala), shrimp curry had a coconut base and distinctive kerala/konkan cuisine and fried fish excellent too. Their dessert had hand made besan(chick pea flour) and sooji (semolina) laddoos, which is so novel for an indian restaurant. The chai was a nice touch. I've sampled many indian restaurants around RTP and definitely this is my best yet, i hope this place continues with it's distinctive style.

I didnt care much for the music they were playing, i'm not at some bollywood disco, just to eat some food in quiet and peace :) someone please get this place a decent music playlist!

Lepakshi Indian Cuisine is a place where we can feel like we are eating in home.
The food made by the chef is really next level.
The assistance is really good.
Especially NARESH , he really takes care of customers.
So, I recommend everyone to taste the food here.

We went there for breakfast. They have a decent South Indian breakfast menu. The food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming. Very good place if you want to try out some South Indian food. Try their pongal, a rice and lentil dish, available only for breakfast with some tea or coffee.

This is my favorite place to eat when I am craving for Indian food. Me and my husband go there pretty often. I love their idli sambhar (rice cake and lentil vegetable curry), dosa, plantains fry, fish fry and shrimp curry. The balance of spices is just perfect. I love their cardamom flavored chai too(just a small suggestions, if you guys can use glass or steel chai cup that would be great).
Definitely recommend this place to all of my friends.

The best biryani you can get in the triangle. Portion sizes are enough to split 2 ways. Ordered egg biryani and chicken biryani and could tell it was made fresh. Made with fantastic ingredients, even had whole clove, curry leaf, and cardamom

Awesome food and customer service! We got the veg thali and it was amazing. All the curries were super flavorful. The server was also very nice and answered all of questions.
