Durham Yoga Company

I work 10 minutes from the Durham studio and live in Carrboro, I attend classes at both studios (though most often I’m at the Durham location). I highly recommend Flow with Ellese, Alaina, and Lee in Durham. Hannah’s early morning flow class in Durham is great too! Alexandra’s Pilates class in Carrboro is amazing. I love this studio for being chill and laid back, local, small, and not corporate. They offer something for everyone - beginners to advanced.

This is the best place in Durham! The instructors are very technically knowledgeable and skillful. Pilates has saved me a bundle on the chiropractor, the instructor is consistently up beat, changes up the routine regularly, and adept at assisting students from their curren ability level to greater strength. Worth it!

Went here for a drop in class to try it out and felt instantly welcomed and catered to. I’m currently pregnant and I was given lots of options during class to help me find a position that suits my needs. The studio was really pretty and the space was perfect for relaxing while getting my burn on. I’m looking forward to coming back!

I was visiting Durham for work and was so happy to have found Carolina Yoga Company. I took two classes and both were wonderful. I highly recommend stopping in for a class if you are in Durham! Ellese and Holland are both fabulous instructors. 🙏🏼

I love all the classes but Vanessa's and Mary's yoga classes and Alexandras pilates are ones that I hate to miss!

Accepting and warm

30$ a class?! This is a gross example of the horrific commadisation of a spiritual practice and is one of the most shameful examples of greed, and disrespectful utter disregard for the system in which they are preaching and impostering to practice in relation, that I have seen to date. As a 20+ year practitioner my heart breaks to witness the growing dismantling and mutilation of a most beautiful and could be truely healing practice. I personally can not support such devistatingly distructive and unhealthy practices. I urge individuals so comfortably taking advantage of communities in search of health and healing through yoga guidence and practice, to do a bit of research and studying into the truth and intention of yoga as a whole, not just the small branch of physical practice, along with some deep inward reflection and remeber they are also bound to the universal laws of Karma, regardless of they know, believe or understand them.
