Gateway Park

This is a great place for kids in the summer... and don't forget the play area!

This park is part of the Grovetown YMCA but is open to the public until 9pm. There is the splash pad are for the kids with lots of room for them to run around including toddlers. On the opposite side is a park with slides, rope ladders, and swings (no infant swings). In both areas there are benches under a shade canopy. There is also a picnic area one is covered with fans and the other is between the splash pad and park.
My son absolutely loved playing here. We will definitely return. Blankets, camping chairs, sunscreen, towels, and snacks are recommended.

Don't walk.. run to this place!! Very kid friendly and nice.

Downside- only three toilets for the women and no changing rooms.

Gateway park is a small clean beautiful park. There is small Waterpark and play are for children. There is also a space for walking, skating, and riding your bike, check it out.

Very nice city park it has a nice playground area that is fenced in from the rest of the park for safety. The park, including a soccer field is well landscaped. Great pavilion is great for parties and other get togethers.

My kids loved it, the bathrooms were extremely clean, the people that were also visiting was very nice and respectful. I came from Burke county all the way to this park and would definitely be back.

I'm going ro have my son's bday party here. It's definitely worth it. My kids had a BLAST! It was very clean & well kept!

Beautiful and clean. Lots of parking spots. They have a spiderweb swing, regular swings and two playgrounds ,very unique models. The splash pad is so fun . You can also enjoy the walking track and soccer field.

Took the kiddos last night and was very pleased. Had a band, food trucks, and a lot of people and kids. Good times and memories.

Very nice open field with a sidewalk track all the way around it. A playground and splash pad are attached at the top of the field with clean bathrooms in the center. I went to enjoy my first food truck friday! Live music, drinks, and great food.

It's a great combo park with both a wet and dry play area.

The park was clean and a variety of events re scheduled there throughout the year. The play ground is small, but the big field compensate for that. I attached an event that was held today that had a variety of bouncy houses and vendors set up throughout the park.

Two words: WARM WATER!! the kids 😉 enjoyed this for two hours straight because the water wasn't freezing cold... which is really tolerable with the kids in the summer. The area is gated, though not locked nor child proofed. Playground is in a separate yet nearby fenced-in area. Very clean area. Nice track that you can do laps while older kids play. Area feels safe and well kept. Walmart is across the road. Really nice spot. We'll be here again..

Gateway Park is great in many ways... running, bringing the grandkids to play, and attending Food Truck Friday. It's very convenient because it's in front of my gym... the Steiner Family Y!
I urge all patrons to keep it clean and family-friendly!!
