Love this quiet spot. Nice trails with LOTS of elevation change. During rainy season it is often flooded near the lake so bring a change of shoes and socks. No ticks, lots of gopher tortoise. Lovely Sandhill milkweed, passionflower, Maryland Meadowbeauty, partridge pea...just an all around nice place to spend a morning.

I haven't gotten to spend a lot of time at Hidden Waters, but what I have seen is gorgeous. Parking was limited. The trails I saw were pretty exposed to the sun, but it is sandhill habitat, so that's to be expected. I look forward to exploring more and finding more species.

Hidden gem. Great hiking. Lots of up and down if you are tired of hiking on the flat and want to get some hills in this is a great place. No restrooms tbat we could find.
