Summer View Park

Absolute hidden gem for pickleball players, soccer players, outdoor enthusiasts, kids and families. They have 6 pickleball courts, playground for 2-5 and a bigger playground for 5-12

Very impressed with this new park. The playground is perfect the kids love it way better than the nonsense they just put up in Tavares. There is a huge field for soccer and new pickle ball courts. A walking trail and bathrooms. Nice little spot.

Clean and nice medium size park. With volleyball and soccer nets. Side walk goes around park for a nice walk.

I wish the playground had more equipment

I appreciate having a place to walk every day however the sidewalk is about the safest place to walk. The grass is so uneven that with running on it you can easily twist your ankle. It’s a simple park however they really need to pay attention to filling in and all the potholes in the field so that people can actually enjoy the park entirely

There is so little for children to play on here. The city should revamp it. How about an actual slide and some settings for a start?

Absolutely pathetic "city park" that Park Square homebuilders agreed to build for the City of Mount Dora after the city approved the Summerview neighborhood and hand over to the city upon completion of the Summerview neighborhood it's named after. There is a "playground" that looks about the size of the ones you'd find in most people's backyard. There is also an unmaintained soccer field that is uneven and just waiting to break some unwitting players ankles dare they try to actually play soccer on it. There are 2 small covered picnic areas that can hold 6-8 people and a non-working bathroom. There are also a few exercise stations that look like they were purchased at a Kmart blue light special. And the grass looks like it was dropped out of a helicopter from about 500 feet up and wherever it landed was where it stayed. I'm fairly certain that the builder spent 10x more on a bunch of palm trees that line the park than they did on the actual park itself. Both the City of Mount Dora and Park Square Homebuilders should be ashamed of this monstrosity.
