Great Seal State Park

A great park to visit, full of Ohio history, hiking trails and clean facilities. Even though the toilets are pits, they are still clean and did not have a terrible smell. The campground was nicely kept and the views were fantastic. Only thing missing was a little shade cover. We had a wonderful camping trip.

Dense and beautiful forest with hiking and pet walks.

Beautiful state park. Miles and Miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Much more elevation than you would expect from the area. The campground was very well kept. No electricity and a simple outhouse but a great camping experience. Water available by the pavilion.

Beautiful park with deer and disc golf course. Nice pavilion, tables, swings and play area. There's also a really cool story trail.

Beautiful primitive campsites. Really nice park for the kids to play on, trails throughout the park. Would recommend to anyone for a beautiful getaway!

Varied disc golf course. Some open, mostly wooded with tight fairways. Short to long.

I love Great Seal State Park! The Storybook Trail was short, yet fun and entertaining for my kids. Love hiking here when I was a teen and love bringing my kids here now!!

Nice Park nice campsites cool Trails nice memorial park.

The disc golf course and surrounding park area are very well maintained. The trails within the park are scenic and quite enjoyable to walk around on. The course specifically, is quite challenging, I wouldn't call it a walk in the park. Even though you are taking a walk through the park.

The park got it's name from the Great Seal of Ohio, where the hills depicted in the seal are these very hills. The trails are great for training as you can pick the ones with the right length and ascend. Trails meandering through groves of pawpaw trees, sassafras trees, the dense vegetations can make you feel that you are in a rain forecast!
We ran into two gentlemen working on the trails. Unfortunately I forgot to ask for their names. They have been volunteering at the state park for twenty some years. It is people like them that keep our state park so beautiful. Thank you for what you do from the bottom of my heart ❤

This is the Great Seal of Ohio hills. Rolling pathways through gorges and semi wet creek runoff areas. Horse trail to follow too. Great hiking. Trees keep it 😎 cool.

Amazing park. Beautiful. Heads up: Very hard climb up Sugarloaf Mountain.

Disc golf course is huge and the scenery is beautiful.

I love going here and cooking out wit my friends and family. Also, a great place to take enjoyable nature hikes.

Went to walk the Storybook Teail. Nice little walk and interesting information in the storybook
Found out there are more trails at the park and a disc golf course.
Will definitely be returning.

Great, tough hiking.
For a challenge hit Sugarloaf Mountain Trail.
Camp sites are good. No electricity or water and it is on their website that way.
There are no showers or sinks.
There is a drinking fountain, water at the south end of the campground and a spigot near the bathroom and dumpster.

Very pretty n relaxing place to have lunch n take some pics.
