Hart Historical District

The museum has been lovingly curated by people who care about preserving how we came to where we are now. Plus, they have a bison hide with a heart on it!

Attractions include a Native American log cabin, railroad depot, Randall School, Sackrider Church, log house, Native American artifacts, miniature piano collection, antique animated dolls, antique pipe organ, wildlife collections, and more. We had a great time at the family reunion I rode with my sister Hope and her husband and I got to see a lot of my relatives it was held at the heritage center. It brought back memories of my life and got me thinking about going back to a simpler life.

It Was awesome walking thru some of the historical buildings, like the one room school house and the church and chiefs cabin house. Also the mueseum was cool with the moving puppets and dolls.

Beautiful Museum and very active volunteers willing to share their history in the community.

The Hart Historical District is a wonderful place during the summer months with the tours they do and the annual pig roast. A lot of history in such a small area.

Definitely historic Hart! Quite a spread of displays. Amazing Native American display. They are building and making changes. Very impressive collection.

A fun place to visit to see many old buildings and Indian relics. Stop in to visit while in Hart.
