Brown Bear

My wife and I had lunch yesterday. It was most delicious, I had the cub sized burger. And my wife the fish and chips. Both were prepared fast, and throughly a great experience. The staff were friendly and quite welcoming. I highly recommend trying this gem located on the main drive. We did see the massive signature burger!

Stopped by this establishment, it was very busy. The Bartender (Carrie I think) was amazing! I had the cub sized burger, my Wife the fish and chips. The food was delicious, hot and fast! This place saved us while camping near by, on a very rainy day!

Our family of 6 stopped on vacation. It was Wing night. Wings were delicious, staff was amazing and drinks were cold! All were happy!

Sat at the bar and had a few cold beers and delicious food! We had the Bear Burger and Fish and Chips. Would definitely stop here again!

The Brown Bear is the kind of place that'll take a good day and make it better.

I was just passing through and decided to stop in for a quick lunch at the bar and was glad I did.

The bartender/server made me feel welcome from the get-go, helped me with my order and even changed the channel on the TV over the bar so I could watch the Tigers.

I ordered the Notorious Bear Burger and the server asked if I wanted the Cub (½ pound of meat!) or the full Bear Burger (1 whole pound of meat!!!). I reluctantly decided to b behave myself and ordered the Cub... and was glad I did because it was more than enough for me!

The burger was delicious, the meat was cooked to order and the waffle fries were fresh and tasty. Plus, there are free refills on stuff drinks.

In short, the service was impeccable, the prices very reasonable (I tipped 100% because the cost was so low) and the vibe was good.

The place was packed on a Sunday night but we were still seated very quickly. Our server, Kelly, was incredibly friendly and very attentive. The prices are reasonable and we left stuffed. We were slightly disappointed in the small cheesecake but not enough to dampen the evening or lower the rating. Definitely recommend!

The piña-peño burger is easily one of the best burgers i ever had! Savory with a hint of sweet, sour, and spicy. Had the beef medium rare, so it was juicy and not hard. I'm not normally a fan of blue cheese, but it played nicely with the other flavors. I love it when restaurants come up with new dishes!

Staff was to-the-point and friendly. Crowded but the wait time was reasonable.

Great food! Got the Notorious Brown bear burger. It was very big! They cook it to order, and you can upgrade it to come with Fries instead of chips. Also got a kids fish and chips. Comes with two strips and fries. They cook the food fresh and it all comes out hot! Bathrooms were a little small. Would definitely go back!

Fish was fried perfectly even down to the tasty tartar sauce , fries were delicious and coleslaw was so good. Ordered a Kamikaze got a vodka and cranberry which is not even close to the same. A Kamikaze has vodka, orange liqueur triple sec and lime juice. Other than that my husband and I enjoyed dinner because we ordered the same thing and he also loved it. Definitely worth the drive for us. Their food is fantastic! The prices are more than fair and portion was perfect. Atmosphere waa friendly and relaxing. We will definitely be back soon!

Very nice. Enjoyed lunch, great service too! Price noted includes a lunch chicken salad for my wife and 3 beers and tip.

Great stop but my only minor change would be to add more seasoning to your burgers. Salt pepper and some onion powder. Also switch to a brioche bun. The ground beef was great and the cook on the burger was great.

A convenient stop in downtown Pentwater. Great Cuban to stop in for and eat. Enjoyed it and will be back to try the burgers that they are know for. Friendly staff and great service.

Came here...service was great and the food was great! Pictures are the broasted chicken and A1 Burger. Both really good! I'd recommend!

Had the brown bear burger. I could not believe the bun did not interfere in the taste of the burger. So good.
