Best Mexican food in the area, no doubt about it! Do yourself a favor go to the counter at the back of this grocery store and place an order! EVERYTHING we tried was absolutely flavorful and authentic.

It's all about the handmade gorditas! I loved the carne asada one. Next time I'll try the barbacoa. Their salsa verde was dreamy. Awesome place, don't miss it for really great eats. The attached market is sweet and so is the patio out back. Enjoy!!!

Best food in the Hart area. Delicious chicken and steak tacos! Take time to look through the amazing grocery store. Freshest produce and meat in the area and great prices. There is a seating area behind the restaurant or you can eat in the park across the street. They have the best tacos I’ve had in years!

Comparable to some of the best Mexican food I've had in Chicago. In 5 days in Michigan, without a doubt, the best food I've had. Simple, unassuming, but authentic: everyone in the kitchen was Latino/a. And the market offers all kinds of foods you won't find anywhere in a 50 mile radius, as well as staples. Not to be missed. It's the best Hart has to offer.

Botana with steak was excellent! Hidden gem for sure. Take out only but with it.

Food is prepared from fresh, authentic Mexican ingredients. We are from Texas and this is the only restaurant that comes close to what we get at home. Love this place and their food!

Absolutely spectacular authentic food!! Speedy service, friendly service, and an excellent variety of everything. The prices are decent, the place is clean, and the location is convenient. Anyone looking for true, authentic Mexican cuisine, should definitely make a stop here! The portions are ample and the flavor is phenomenal!! Definitely two thumbs up from me.

Absolutely amazing food! I have been going here for years, since they opened and have never had a bad experience. The staff is very friendly a the food is decently priced. While I like just about everything on the menu, the el pastor gorditas and tacos are in my top favorites. Highly recommend for good authentic Mexican food.

Had a really good lunch here on Sunday afternoon. The chips and guacamole were excellent. My husband had tacos and I had the burrito. Everything was very good and the service is great. What this restaurant lacks in the decor, it makes up in taste and quality of food. The little Mexican store in the front is a fun place to shop too. We will be back!

The very best Authentic Mexican food. My daughter took me here 5 years ago and have been hooked since! Super friendly staff. Very helpful if you need help ordering. So much good food!

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had!! I live in L.A., which is only to say I've had a lot of authentic Mexican food and La Probadita definitely ranks in the top for delicious, quick and quality cuisine. If you haven't yet, go, you will not regret it.

This is my favorite lunch stop, I eat here at least once a week. The food is simply amazing, I have not had anything I didn't like. I can't say enough positive things. This is the place I always recommend to try when we have a new co-worker or when someone is visiting from of town, which may say more than positive words anyway.

This is literally the best authentic Mexican food in the area, honestly it’s probably the best food in general for Hart. It’s always so good, fast, fresh, filling and CHEAP. I could eat a tostada here every day for the rest of my life and die happy. Love their beans but the way they do pork is amazing. Quesadillas are always perfectly flaky and crispy, fair warning the hot salsa is like HOT hot but it’s good. Love that they have grilled jalapeños as a side. Also the market is great, a lot of options here and I’m always impressed with produce, the prices and how nice the people are. They are cash only but they have an atm up front!
