I visit this store frequently for all my unique gifts and holiday and home decor. Staff is so very friendly and so helpful! Hands down best specialty gift shop in Rockford. If you haven’t made a visit yet, be sure you do!

I knew I loved the home decor and gifts at the Porch and now I love their clothes too! I recently purchased 2 cute tops and a dress. The staff was so helpful! I will be back!

Great selection of unique gifts

Very eclectic gift shop. Some very unique items but rather overpriced. Parking was difficult and customer service was lax at best. The store is very cluttered and treasures are easy to miss due to the lack of space to maneuver. I would not recommend this for anyone with a handicap as spaces are small are very hard to navigate without bumping and potentially breaking things.

I went in with my husband and 2 kids to look at stuffed animals. There was no greeting. The person at the desk just eyed us like a hawk. It made both me and my daughter very uncomfortable. I looked back and smiled, and got no smile in return. Would not recommend.

Nice store. But thought staff was rather rude. I didn't want to make judgement from 1st time in so went back another 2 times and same feel. Too bad cause they have a nice store, but I definitely won't go back.

Owners are not extremely friendly, rest of the staff is great.

The blond lady made me feel like a criminal. She walked up to my daughter and I and asked if she could help. When I said I shop there and I was just showing her around the town she saiid ok and walked away. Then she kept circling us making it feel very uncomfortable. I asked if something was sold separately and the said “but they start at 165 so….) implying that she didn’t think I could afford it! It was uncomfortable and insulting and I will never go back again. It’s so overpriced anyways but I still liked their stuff but I wont be treated like that.

The owner circled us like a hawk the entire time we were there. She asked us why we were there? To which we answered to shop? We then asked if some cute artwork was sold separately or all togther and she gave us a snobby look and said “ they are $150 each” implying we couldn’t afford it. We walked out, absolutely terrible.

The store is well laid out and perfectly nice, albeit overpriced for several items (and yes, I’m comparing to other small, similarly-themed gift shops); however, it was extremely disappointing to see only one staff member in the entire store masked. To make things worse, the employee that was masked is several months pregnant, and, even then, her coworkers couldn’t be bothered to mask up. Vaccinated or not, masking is the least everyone can do (also, it’s mandated), and it’s sad to see such brazen disregard for others’ health and safety.
