I went to Foot Lodge after visiting a foot doctor and was told I had a stress fracture in my metatarsal and I needed good shoes to help take pressure off the metatarsal. Sandra and her co worker fitted me with the correct shoe to help my foot. Sandra's knowledge of foot issues and the shoes to help is fantastic. Thank goodness Rockford has this wonderful store.

Such tender and personal attention to my father's needs for safety while walking and the best shoes to promote good form. A very nice experience, and our first visit will not be the last, for sure!!!

I have heel and foot pain to the point I almost never wear heels. I was worried the store would be all orthotics and shoes my grandma would wear... I was wrong! I was introduced to mephistos. All the ladies there including clients were raving about these shoes. More than I wanted to spend but they are adorable and so comfortable that I am wearing them everyday with dress clothes to work. So glad I took the chance to go and listened to the clerk. My feet thank you 😊

I was recommended this store by my doctor due to chronic foot problems. I was greeted immediately when walking into the store. Zack was extremely helpful in finding the right shoes for my needs. He was outstanding. I will be buying my shoes here from now on.

You can't beat the service here they really know their stuff. If you work on your feet all day and don't know this place, your doing yourself a huge disservice

My favorite shoe store!! I’ve been a loyal customer almost as long as it’s been open. Sandy is very knowledgeable and helpful! I buy 99% of my footwear here from athletic shoes to slippers to winter boots and everything in between. Stop in and check it out, you’ll be glad you found this gem.

The best shoe shopping experience I’ve had in a long time! They had an amazing selection for me to choose from, so I could find exactly what I was looking for. Went in for only a pair of shoes and walked out with a couple because I couldn’t choose! The workers were very attentive and clearly knowledgeable on all aspects of foot posture. Felt so at home here and will be going back in the future and letting friends and family know this is the place to go!

Excellent place for the correct fitting shoes. The owner is so nice, helpful and very knowledgeable of what your shoe needs are. She took all the time needed to make sure I was happy with the fit and feel of the recommended shoes. We never felt rushed or ignored and she was extremely busy the day we were there.

My daughter told me about this place. First pr. Of shoes I bought were New Balance. My Doctor recommended New Balance since I have arthritis in my feet from too many breaks. Yesterday I came back and bought a ankle boot. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. I will be back when I need another type of shoe. Always someone to help you out and listens to your needs.

First time visitor on recommendation by podiatrist. Greeted with a smile and made to feel comfortable. Sandy was very warm and friendly. The shoe selection was a real surprise since I half expected very utilitarian problem feet shoes. The shoe selection was amazing! Shoes that had foot benefits as well as stylish! Metallics and animal prints, even. Many brands and styles to choose.
I had intended to purchase 2 pairs of shoes and I did but easily could have added at least 2 more. I will go back since I need to replace my shoe wardrobe. And, my eye was on a really cute pair of quilted Keens. ###

It was my first visit and purchase, but it won't be the last. Sandy and Katie were experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful it fitting my AR brace to just the right shoe.

Very pricy, and very worth it. If you have an age or a pain see the owner, she is nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The rest of the staff ranges from, I don't know why the still work here too friendly. The selection is great, the styles are cute and comfy for both men and women. I have sent friends and family to this establishment and will continue to.

Sandy was more than generous today helping me with a sizing issue. Although I had received a pair of shoes as a gift some time ago, I had not worn them yet and did not realize they didn't fit properly. (they were the same size as another Keen shoe I already had) Sandy helped me find something comparable that fit and was beyond generous with the exchange. I was truly impressed! Thank you for the excellent customer service. It sure went a long way in my book.

Excellent experience all the way around! Warm and welcoming atmosphere, great selection and experienced staff. My feet are difficult to fit yet they they teamed up to find exactly what I needed!! Our therapy dog, Mercy, enjoyed her visit here as well!!! Many blessings! :)

The owner is AMAZING. My baby was about 1 YO when we started going to The foot lodge and he had to be fitted for and have special shoes as he had a foot condition from birth. The owner and her staff have gone above and beyond when we visit and they are all so amazing with my son! Such helpful and kind people here!!! I will never take my son anywhere else...
