Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens

My wife and I went to the funeral home to finally get our funerals arranged and paid for. There was a very nice lady named Cyanne who helped us. She showed us and explained everything we needed to know. I felt she covered everything well. The funeral home is very nice. We had put this off for way too long. I am glad we did this now so it's all ready and our kids won't have the stress of wondering where the money will come from for this as we know none of them can afford to pay for it. Everything from what kinds of flowers we wanted, music, and the type of reception we wanted was arranged by us. It's something most people put off and never take care of and then if an unexpected tragedy happened to them, this would put a financial burden on the next of kin. It's not easy thinking about dying, but it needs to be done and not avoided if possible. The cemetery is a very nice place for eternal rest.

We lost our mother recently. It of course was not totally unexpected, however came about quite abruptly. My mother had made her own arrangements at Sunsets in 2003. She felt strongly about it because her and my dad had mosuleum plots however they had to do some switching around due when my brother passed away. He had no arrangements or will and at the time was only 43. Sunset was there to help our family each set of the way. I would highly recommend the group at Sunset Funeral Home.

Abby was so kind and compassionate and made the the arrangement process very smooth. Wyatt was so organized and and extremely sensitive to our needs during the services. They both made a a difficult situation more tolerable. They gave my Father an amazing service.

The staff at Sunset Gardens is very caring and sympathetic. I was happy that they came in a little under my budget. The Chapel and flowers were beautiful. The luncheon was excellent. I had many friends and relatives comment on what a beautiful, clean, inviting funeral we had for my Mother. Sunset Gardens is there to answer questions and meet your every need.

Sunset was helpful in every way in planning and arranging services for my late husband. We received guidance throughout the entire process in a kind and sensitive manner, they made sure all our questions were answered, and offered unique options to help make the service both comforting and pleasant for family and friends in remembering his life, and honorable to our dear, departed loved one. Every item and service they provided was faultless. They truly helped lift the burden of a difficult time.

Our family was blessed to have such a compassionate and caring staff working with us. Amy, Eric and Wyatt were so helpful and truly cared. They are our angels on earth. Our dad's service was absolutely perfect. We expressed what we wanted and they delivered it flawlessly. I don't think they actually know how much they did for our family during this time. But our family knows and we appreciate them and the entire staff at Sunset Funeral Home.

If anyone is looking for a great Family Service Counselor at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens I truly recommend Pierre LaFranca he was absolutely amazing.

Losing a loved one is the most heart breaking thing to ever go through and having someone that is so compassionate about what they do truly makes the difference. Amy showed true compassion to myself and my family when we lost my grandmother. We told her exactly how we pictured her services and Amy exceeded our expectations. The service was beautiful and the staff had everything set up for our luncheon immediately following the service. They took care of everything for us and I can't thank them enough for everything they did.

Sunset Memorial Gardens were wonderful at handling the arrangements and funeral services for my dad. They were very caring and considerate with the details and any questions we had. I would highly recommend them to anyone for the handling of their loved ones.

On December 4th 2023 we had my grandma's funeral she was reunited with my grandpa who passed away in 2008. Amy, Angela and Pierre were amazing! There were a few things Pierre LaFranca went out of his way to do that wasn't asked for he made sure to get me my grandma's fingers prints and than heard me saying to family members I forgot bringing my her dice that she played Yahtzee with my grandpa and with all our family. Pierre went out his way and got the dice before the service was over! Pierre went above and beyond and it was very much appreciated and so greatful. That is what you can expect from the caring people at Sunset Funeral Home!

The staff a Sunset were so thorough and caring. They went over all the details and arranged everything perfectly. They didn't try to upsell us on anything, simply explained all the options available. I couldn't be more pleased with how wonderful all of the staff was. During such a difficult time, it's nice to feel confident that my father's arrangements were in the hands of such caring people.

Losing my mother was truly the hardest thing I have ever had to bare, I couldn’t think straight, let alone try and make funeral arrangements for my dear mother… if it wasn’t for the friendly and caring staff at sunset memorial funeral gardens, I could not have done it!! I had to call sooo many times because I couldn’t remember what I was suppose to do and they were always so pleasant and caring!! I would line to thank them all for going out of their way to help us through this most difficult time!

It was a very nice service. My mom looked incredible, I was really hoping they would get her hair right and they did. She was always particular about her hair.
