Liz is amazing! Her cupcakes were absolutely perfect for our wedding. We loved having such a great selection of flavors to choose from. We also asked for delivery, cupcake holder rental, and setup, and it helped us a lot when we were scrambling to get the wedding area prepped. If I lived in Rockford, I'd go every week to try all the new flavors she makes. So yummy!

Liz has been absolutely AMAZING from beginning to end for our wedding! She brought our cake to life exactly how we imagined with such amazing flavor, and her cheesecake tarts were delicious! Everyone LOVED them. The Morans will always go to Halo for our baking needs. <3

I desperately wanted cake pops for my wedding and I could not find anyone in the Rockford area to do this, until I found Halo Bakeshop. Liz makes a fantastic cake pop and was so great to work with! I asked her for a cake made out of cake pops and she creatively designed a new stand to help me realize my vision. I was so happy with how everything turned out. I also sampled some of her cupcakes and they were delicious as well!

Liz was so wonderful to work with! She did such a beautiful job on my wedding cake! It was exactly what I wanted and not to mention delicious! We had a variety of cupcakes for our guests and they were all a hit. You really can't go wrong with any flavor! Halo has the best cupcakes in the Rockford area. When the bakery I used for our wedding cake and for all of our anniversary cakes was unable to make our 8th anniversary cake this year, I reached out to Halo Bakeshop to see if they could help. They were amazing, easy to contact, made a beautiful 6 inch cake for us, and it was delicious! Baileys/Jameson/Guinness chocolate cake! 5 stars all the way. Happy new customers!

Absolutely amazing! My fiance turned 25 so I had her make the SpongeBob cake and everyone absolutely loved it! They said best cake ever! Great price, amazing cake!

We've gone here almost yearly in the summers, catering for birthdays, and the lemon blueberry cupcakes are definatelycrowd favorites, but we love switching up the flavors! We've always had great experiances and service. I believe one year we had a lack of flavor that wed requested, but I remember it being more than made up for, and we plan on using them for all future baked needs.

Halo Cupcakes were amazing to work with and were a huge hit at our daughter’s wedding! From the presentation, to the amazing first bite, everyone raved about how incredible they were! Thank you for making the most amazing cupcakes!

Liz made such beautiful cakes and desserts for my moody and haunted Halloween Wedding! They tasted amazing!! And they fit the theme of our wedding perfectly 🖤 She was extremely well priced and I had endless amount of compliments on the flavor!! She rocked it!! Thanks again Liz!

My vintage heart wedding cake dreams came to life thanks to halo bakeshop. We also ordered an assortment of tasty cupcakes which were a huge hit with the guests! The owner was so kind and easy to work with, and I am so grateful to her for making things work for us despite the last minute additions and changes. 🫶🏽

Liz was so easy to work with for my dad's retirement party. She threw together a wonderful golf themed cake with additional root beer cupcakes and some delicious cheesecake tarts! I highly recommend Halo for all your dessert needs!

We ordered cupcakes for our ribbon cutting ceremony and we received so many compliments on them! We got an assortment of flavors and everyone loved them. Customer service was great and everything was ready on time. We would definitely recommend them to any of our friends and we can't wait to find an occasion to order again!

The cake was delicious and decorated perfectly based on my request! Everyone was impressed by the decorations and taste! We will be coming back for her next birthday! The other treats I bought were tasty too!

Stopped in a few weeks ago. Got one of everything that was left. I did not want to share them but I don’t think eating 10 cupcakes would be the smartest idea. The kids gobbled down the rest before I took off my jacket when I got home. Flavors are AMAZING and the lady behind the counter as sweet as the cupcakes!!! I will be a customer for life. I love anything lemony and the lemon blueberry cake cookie thing was so good I almost cried!!!!

Halo is amazing! Liz did a phenomenal job at capturing what we wanted for our wedding cake(winter wonderland was our theme). It was beautiful. We also had a dessert table as well. Everything was delicious and all of our guests were talking about the desserts all night. I highly recommend Halo Bakeshop to anyone planning out their wedding or big event!

I was in awe and I still am after I ordered a red velvet wedding cake from Halo Bakeshop. It was exactly what I pictured and tasted so extremely delicious! It was the most beautiful cake I have ever had in my life and I would highly recommend choosing Halo for any event.

I had contacted a few local bakeries for a birthday cake enquiry and Halo bakeshop was the most responsive, responsible and efficient in communication so I decided Halo was the way to go. Liz was excellent! My son’s birthday cake got many compliments and we were very satisfied about it.

I had multiple guests tell me it was the most delicious cake they’d ever eaten at a wedding. Plus it was beautiful. ☺

Had a weird request- shippable decorated cookies for a baby shower box...on short notice when another cookie decorator canceled on me. Halo stepped up and did a better job (seriously, her ideas were GREAT) and for less money. I was so so happy with the result! Would recommend wholeheartedly for any custom project!

Liz was amazing from the moment I reached out to Halo Cupcake. She responded quickly to my inquiry. She was patient with my indecisiveness and her suggestions were helpful. The cake was beautiful and delicious! I would recommend Liz and use her again when I need a cake for an event.
