Maciano's Pizza & Pastaria

My family was in town for a baseball tournament and we stumbled upon this gem! The dishes were good size portions, came out quick & hot, staff was great and food was decently priced. Definitely enjoyed our time here.

This little restaurant has become my go-to, in the Rockford area, for a great Italian meal and value.
I had a Penne and Broccoli dish with a side of meatballs. The pasta was so fresh and hot with an excellent garlic sauce. The garlic bread was crusty and hot. The meatballs were tender and tasty, and the Chianti was a very good complement. I'll be back!

My husband & I go here about once a month for the Meat Classic pizza. It is absolutely amazing. The sauce is so delicious, the thin crust is wonderful & the combination of the meats is very flavorful. The mozzarella sticks are also divine. Lots of thick tasty gooey cheese in a crunchy seasoned shell dipped slightly into the marinara sauce. Yummy! Service has always been wonderful.

my family and I have been coming here for years and it’s always delicious. We came back Into town recently and stopped by. We ordered pasta and my favorite, the breadsticks. The pasta had so so much flavor along with the sauce. Our food was hot and our server was so nice. The breadsticks are still my personal favorite, the coat of olive oil and garlic and Parmesan goes together so well. Then dipping it in the marinara sauce is the best.

Food was very good and did not bother my stomach or my family’s stomach! My family is lactose intolerant and pizza usually upset their tummies… and I have pancreatitis and pizza can be too greasy for me at times, but none of us had any issues!!! We’ll be ordering more often!!!

Maciano’s is literally 2-3 blocks from our home. We enjoy the waitstaff (especially Hayley) as much as we enjoy their food. It is a quiet atmosphere which provides a wonderful dining experience!

We order here on occasion. It's always great food. However, on 1/19 we ordered our normal XL meat lovers with garlic and a little extra done. It was phenomenal. So, please let the cook know he did a great job.

When we are in the mood for a Chicago Style pizza, Maciano's is our local pizza of choice. Had not been here in a while but once again the pizza did not disappoint.
Only one waitress was working, probably can't get help like every other restaurant in town, so the service was a bit slow but not unreasonably slow.
Pizza is very subjective but if you haven't tried their Chicago pizza I recommend you give it a go.

I moved here about a year ago.
Everybody has a different idea of what the perfect Chicago pizza is and I've tried most of them, much to my dismay, not so awesome...Until I tried this place.
Hands down, best pizza in town! They are crazy liberal with their ingredients and they are super super friendly and fast!

Best pizza in town, Best Breadsticks in America. We ordered delivery, food arrived hot and fresh. Driver was nice and very polite. Placed our order and estimated delivery time was about an hour, our food arrived well before and hour, THANK YOU maciano's, we appreciate everything about your restaurant and service.

Exactly how I dream a deep-dish pizza should be made. The best pizza I've had in the past 40± years! Pepperoni, Italian sausage, black olives. The tomatoes in the sauce are exceptional!

Our favorite is thin crust pizza with sausage, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and olives. Yum! Addicting! The family salad always tastes fresh and the homemade balsamic dressing is a must. Ordering via the website works well and delivery has always been reliable. When family members who have moved away come to visit, they often request Maciano's pizza - something they can't get where they live now.

I was there really to pick up an Uber Eats order so I asked about the order (if it was ready). I noticed on the order they had a cherry cheesecake so I asked if I could also get one. I grabbed it and went on my way..

This cheesecake was so much more than I expected... and I didn't know that was possible. It was so smooth and creamy and the taste was just so good, not full of sugar either. Just a clean, really great flavor of original cheesecake...... then there's the cherry sauce they put over the cheesecake. It's so delicious that it's unreal. By looking at it I was hoping there was enough on it to enjoy the whole piece, I was very unsure about this but to my suprise, it was enough to last the entire piece! And what a serving size it is! It's definitely not small! And all that greatness for under $7, HOW AMAZING! I will be telling everyone I know about this cheesecake!

And also... the employees here are so nice and polite, a definite great place to do business with.

I had a carry out order, but it was excellent- the sauce makes the pizza as well as compliments the fried ravioli and breadsticks nicely. Definitely recommend!

During the rush of Christmas Eve, when most places were bustling or closed, Miciano's Pizza in Loves Park shone as a beacon of both hospitality and exceptional taste. Despite the crowd in the pick up line, their service made me feel like the singular focus of their attention. Literally, I felt like the only person in line.

Opting for 'The Works' specialty pizza on a thin crust was an absolute game-changer. The toppings were generously piled—sausage, pepperoni, ground beef, bacon, mushroom, onion, green olives, green pepper, and black olives—a medley of flavors that made every bite an adventure.

The moment I opened the box & laid eyes on my order, I could sense the freshness and warmth emanating from it. And the taste? Simply put, it was perfection personified. The blend of flavors, the balance of ingredients, and the mastery of cooking left me thoroughly impressed.

As a self-proclaimed pizza enthusiast, I can confidently say that this experience has solidified Miciano's as my top choice for pizza in Loves Park, IL. Each slice was a symphony of taste, and I can't wait to go back for more! Kudos to the team for their exceptional service and for crafting a masterpiece in every pizza they serve.

Went here with my wife for the first time and had the baked lasagna and the chicken florentine. Everything was delicious! Got 2 tiramisu desserts to go and I highly recommend it!

Such a great place. Nothing compares. Their food is just next level compared to other pizza/Italian places in the ghost town that is Rockford. Their pricing on appetizers is kinda meh tbh but everything else, 10/10. One of their cashiers/frontwomen scoffed at me paying cash and not tipping for a takeout order which kinda annoyed me but still, amazing food!!!

Wow, this is hands down the BEST pizza and bread sticks I've ever had. The bread sticks are like nothing else. The property had wine available to purchase. The seating area had more of a fancy look than that of a typical pizza place. Very clean and modern. I'd come back over and over again if I lived in Illinois!

I ordered here for our company catering event! We got the Italian beef, mostaccioli, and Cesar salad. All of the food was phenomenal. The delivery driver was very friendly and helpful.

I have ordered from here several times the thin crust pizza.. Very good and tasty never disappointed. Cinnamon sticks and salads are also very good. One day soon I will ve trying deep dish and expect it to also not disappoint 😁 Moving to the area I was worried about finding a great pizza place I found it!!!!
I ordered again got the chopped salad Delicious 😋 For pizza usually so pepperoni this time added garlic, spinach, and roasted red peppers thin crust; Highly recommend....
