So far, I have not been disappointed in anything I've had here and everything I've tried has been better and better. The staff is great and very helpful along with being super friendly. Has a wonderful atmosphere and great food. Totally recommend the super crunchy roll, as it's my favorite.

The food tastes good and is large. It's a good choice for dinner. The new iced green tea tastes good. You can try it.

Always a short wait to he seated even when busy. Staff is on top of getting orders from you and into the kitchen. Some of the freshest sushi 🍣 I have had in a long time. Coming from FL I know fresh fish. Will be one of my regular places to eat for sure.

Great food. Great service. Expensive, but enough food for the two of us to share and not break the budget.

Chicken and steak was fantastic, service was great, and the price was very reasonable. The lunch portion was what many other places call a dinner portion, so I can only imagine how much food they give you for dinner. Will definitely eat there again!

Edit: Ok, i said I'd never come here again after my first experience. It wasn't good. At all. However, first impressions don't have to be the end of relationships...

My wife made me come back here for take out (closest sushi place around) and it was amazing. The rice was perfectly sweetened but with that vinegar twang that makes sushi rice so good. The seasonings for everything was delectable.

Not gonna lie. This is as homemade as it gets for some sushi/sashimi around here.

The sushi, perfectly made. The people were super nice up front and I tip as well as I can because I appreciate their business. Had takeout 3 more times, every one spot on for what we ordered. One bad experience can be overlooked. I'm definitely a repeat customer now :).

Nice little oriental restaurant.... The bento box is a solid winner for lunch.

... enter update

Several years and a pandemic later...
We drove down yesterday evening with plans that my hair-brained idea had created late in the day as work was winding down. I messaged my wife and said, “Hey, you remember that place we used to like? See if they’re still open and doing well.” She amused me and did a lil research as I drove home from work. The consensus regarding “the place we used to like” was a mix of good and bad reviews. That’s fair... “Let’s go see, it’s probably fine.”

Well, about half an hour and twenty miles later, we arrive at “the place,” yeah, that one. There’s nowhere to park. It’s Friday, and it’s slammed, so I don’t even attempt to pull in. Driving past “the place,” I remembered this other place. “Ya remember the one I told you about where I had lunch that time? It was great, and I’ve been wanting to take you ever since.” She agrees, as plans have suddenly changed.

Reintroducing Tokyo Sushi and Hibachi... We pulled up and parked right at the front door. The place wasn’t what I’d call busy. There were a few people picking up takeout orders, and there were a few tables filled with people in the back of the place. Well, there were a few tables left, and they seated us in the last booth available. It just didn’t “feel” that busy. It smelled great... The place is basically as I remember it from lunch five years ago. My wife and my son had never been, but they were trusting my impromptu hair-brained idea. “Please be good... please be good.”

My wife and I love oriental food, and my son... well, he’s picky... As we perused the menu for ideas, I was waaay overcomplicating things with the sushi. We love sushi. As I was overcomplicating things, my son asks about the Lobster Rangoon on the back of the menu. I didn’t even realize there was a back of the menu. Well there is, and there are even more options there, including appetizers, drinks, and the Bento Box... mmmm, a favorite as I recall. So, anyway, we get the Rangoon. It’s hard to find good Rangoon that tastes right and isn’t old and fishy. This was awesome! My wife and I both got the Bento Boxes. My tempura vegetables, dumpling, and spring-roll were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp Tempura and vegetables. The California roll was nothing spectacular, but it’s a California roll. I don’t know how that even qualifies as sushi, but I digress. My wife had the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box, also with California roll and fried rice. Once I remembered to ask for wasabi & chopsticks, the server also brought YumYum sauce. I had not even thought about that option. Win-win! It was on like Donkey Kong. My son, the picky eater, enjoyed his kids plate. Most of that is in the fridge for leftovers. “Hey, I love leftover re-fried fried rice.” Regardless, win-win.

It was a great experience. My son, the picky eater, actually thanked me for bringing him here. I’m sorry that I hadn’t remembered this place sooner. We’ll be back!

Russellville is not the type of city I would expect to find this quality of Japanese food. I would put their hibachi food up against any other Japanese restaurant, even the ones that put on a show.
I highly recommend Tokyo!

After years of living on Maruchan instant Ramen, this is a total game changer. At this moment, I am enjoying a good plate of chicken yakisoba from this place and I'm happy. Probably the happiest I've been in a while. If I could rate this higher, I would absolutely rate an 11 out of 5. This place is quite spectacular. YUM YUM YUM! 12 out of 5 - P.P EATS

I am from out of town, here on business. I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for good sushi to satisfy their craving! Leah, the waitress was extremely nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations on what sushi to order. If I am ever in the area again, I will return. Thanks for a wonderful sushi dinner!
