Just like the original Does in Greenville, Mississippi. All of the menu is good and the steaks are THE BEST cuts!!!!!! Has a large separate section if you are looking for somewhere to have a large gathering. If you leave there hungry, it's your own fault. Tip: Wear loose clothing especially eating the 3lb Porter house. So Good!

Service with a smile and high quality food. Being from Atlanta, we have amazing options for dining. When traveling to smaller cities, my expectations are always much lower. After eating an enjoyable dinner at Doe's, I can absolutely put this place up against many casual steak restaurants in Atlanta.

TLDR; I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!! We ate here when it first opened a couple years ago, and it was underwhelming, the steak was not seasoned, and nothing stood out. Well, last night we decided to try it again, and WOW, I am so, so glad we did! I have eaten steaks all over the country (at everything from hidden gems to Michelin star restaurants), and the steaks they served my wife and I yesterday seriously could stand up to any of them. I am beyond excited to have such an amazing steakhouse 5 minutes from my house. The sides and appetizers were absolutely delicious as well; I highly recommend the fried garlic biscuits and one of their staples, the tamales! They serve the tamales differently than they are typically served, with a side of chili to dip them in rather than in/on them. They were surprisingly good! We will be back very often!

If God fed all the people with only bread and fish I believe he ordered the food from here. The staff was excellent and the food was fantastic. My wife got the burger and it melted in my mouth. I got the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. Will say anyone that comes this way to check this place out

First class dining experience, wonderful find in a small town in Alabama. While on the slightly higher side cost wise, we left feeling like we got our money's worth for the meal. Our server was attentive, without being a burden, we did not have to wait at all for just about everything. Rare find. Highly recommend!

We went for dinner last night and WOW! I think the steak was the best I've ever eaten and I once lived in Texas. Sides were delicious. Decor and atmosphere were amazing. Over 1 hour from home but we will definitely go again.

Work dinner for 10. The wine suggestions were perfect. Appetizers tasty and well portioned. Salad was very good! Had every option of the steak and everyone loved it. Wish we had room for dessert. Highly recommend.

Doe's is the MOST FABULOUS PLACE TO EAT IN Russellville, Alabama!! From the font door to the amazing people who greet you!!! The food is fabulous!! Everyone who works here makes sure your dining experience is the best!!! If you want to dine in or carry out, they work so hard to make a fabulous atmosphere! Amazing drinks if you want and the steaks ... melt in your mouth!! Everything on the menu, delicious!!!!

One of the best steaks we’ve ever eaten. This is a small town treasure. The food and the servers were excellent.

One of the best restaurants in the area by a long shot. The filet is amazing, and the staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere in the room could use a bit of work, maybe dividers or partition walls or something to give the place the ambiance that it deserves, but it's not enough of a detracting to really matter.
I advise sitting at the bar if you're old enough.

Hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life!

Had a reservation for my wife and I this weekend for Valentines Day and it went great! Food was great as usual. Love the vibe of the restaurant! We have been several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be back soon!

One of the best steaks I have eaten. Service was fantastic, waitress and management was great. One of the GMs walked around and asked how food was, showed great improvement since old Doe’s! Will be back.

I had an excellent time at this establishment, I am a well traveled Man. I have been to the best restaurants around the US, and I can with confidence say that this is among the finest dinning experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was absolutely wonderful, the bar tender made me the most perfect house old fashion! (Which I highly suggest). Now for the steak, the steak was cooked to 100% perfection. You can tell when a restaurant has a kitchen with a good head chef and excellent line. This is such a special restaurant for the small town of Russellville Alabama, a true diamond in the rough. Don’t waste your time at any other restaurant in Russellville. I assure they can’t beat this one!

Really one of the best places to eat in the entire area. The steaks I had heard about, and naturally I was skeptical. I now can say they have one the tastiest steaks in Alabama. Cocktails and other bar beverages flowed at the appropriate speed. I was impressed with the staff and the way they took care of our party. Overall one of the best places to eat, laugh and enjoy a meal. I highly recommend it, parking is plentiful downtown, if you're looking for a quality meal stop by and try Doe's.

Food was terrific! Although short staffed tonight, the staff did a great job providing very good service! Super friendly hometown feel with a modern comfort decor! Highly recommend!

First time there.1.5 lb sirloin steak. It was great.

Some of the best beef I have ever eaten. I ordered the petite filet and it was done exactly to my taste and tender. Many of the couples in the group ordered one meal to split because the beef is priced by the pound and 1 and 1/2 lb is the smallest steak. The petite filet is 8 oz. I also had the bisque and it was excellent. My meal was $33.

I can’t believe Russellville has a gem like this. Our steaks were comparable to big steak houses and the drinks were even better. So glad we don’t have to go to Florence or Huntsville for a night out anymore. You’ve got new regulars, for sure!
