La Cucina Italian Grill

Friendly and inviting staff welcomed me into this cute space... and then the food just absolutely blew me away. Plated beautifully and spiced perfectly.

The garlic bread alone is a masterpiece, but when the pasta dishes came out I was transported to a family ristorante in Little Italy.

My husband took me here for our 12th anniversary tonight. It was a lovely place, with a cozy sort of environment. It was very clean, and all the servers were super polite and friendly. We had the pleasure of having Amber, and a delightful young busman catering to our needs. We ordered these little rice balls and very tasty mozzarella sticks to start. Then he chose lamb chops and I chose the Chicken Siciliano. They staggered everything a little, so it was almost like having a 4 course meal in this cute little place. The food was magnificent, we tried a bit of each others and just... between color, freshness, and taste, we were highly impressed and I applaud my husband's choice for our date. Of course, I couldn't resist the Tiramisu for desert and wish La Cucina was about way back when I was pregnant and craving it! It was beyond a delightful evening.

I went to dinner with my Dad here for his birthday. I dare say this was probably the best food that either of us have ever had. Once we tried the Mozzarella sticks we ordered more than we could ever handle. I have never seen him happier. It is a little pricey, but you are paying for quality. This is the best quality in the area. Hands down. Go there and ask for Deidra. She was phenomenal. I will 200% be going back. Most other restaurants are dead to me now.

It was Absolutely amazing!! The owner saw my Facebook post that it was the anniversary of our first date she came out and gave us an amazing Peanut butter cheese cake on the house. Every waitress wished us happy anniversary. The food was absolutely delicious. If you have not ate here you need to!! From the wine to the fried goat cheese on my salad to the meal,to the desert and coffee to the hospitality,it was 5stars all the way

2nd time here and had the pasta special with shrimp that was delicious! Started with the calamari appetizer and it was SO good! Took canolli to go. Every one in my family was super pleased. We are extremely picky when eating Italian out since we are Italian and love our home cooked meals, but this is truly as authentic as it gets! Loved everything! Service, food, everything was wonderful! Mangia! 😋😍

I haven't been here in a while. The last time we came it wasn't the greatest. Today, however, it was amazing in all categories. Service was fantastic. Food was so hot and fresh. Bread was delicious. You can tell they take such pride in their business and they want their customers to love their experience. There was even a guy playing a button box.

This restaurant is a really great place! I cant say enough about how good the food is.on our last visit tonight valentine's day we made reservations for 630pm and we were seated at exactly 630pm cant say enough about how sweet our waitress was!she told us about all the specials suggested great desserts kept us great on drinks...just a really nice place to enjoy the best Italian food in this area!

Excellent Restaurant!! Have been here several times and always enjoy it. The food is always perfect, and so is the service. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert...the lemon cake is amazing!

I'm from Chicago and this is my 2nd time here in 4 weeks. I absolutelove the food and the service is amazing. The waitresses are the nicest most informed ppl I know. I recommend this place to anyone riding thru west virginia.

I’m not originally from here just moved here not long ago and this by far is my favorite restaurant. Everyone is always nice and welcoming the food is always so fresh and amazing. Presented very well every time too! I can’t say enough good. The only place around here I’ve noticed that makes Bruschetta right in my opinion too! 😍😍 try the shrimp scampi very delicious!

As someone who grew up thinking Italian food was just "normal everyday food" this place blew me out of the water. My dad and I stopped in for a late lunch and could not have been happier. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Everything we had was delicious, fresh and made like you would for friends and family. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Awesome service! Gold goes to the kitchen staff with their excellent dinner entrees. Creative and delicious authentic Italian. But make sure you save room for dessert.. 100% worth it.

We went to this restaurant for a casual date night, never having been here. At first, I was turned off because of how small the restaurant was in general, but specifically the hostess stand and waiting area. It gave me bad anxiety to sit here and wait because it was so tiny and scrunched together.
However once we got our waitress (I feel so bad I can't remember her name....Tina maybe?) and seated, I knew it was going to be an excellent experience.
In short, the service was wonderful and the food was authentic and way over my expectations for a little Italian restaurant in Weirton, WV. Even my husband said it might be the best Italian he's ever had.
The bread was amazing and moist, the appetizer was huge and full of flavor, the salad was scrumptious, and the entre was out of this world. I highly recommend. The only things I would change are the amount of space (especially in the entrance) and I would add my favorite type of wine to the menu: Sauvignon Blanc. Other than those two minor things, I'd give this a five star review. I'd expect something like this in the city of Pittsburgh, not Weirton.

Very nice place where the owner and family are there and come out and talk to you to see how things are. Food was awesome and plentiful.

My favorite red sauce ever, has a nice spice to it. Meatballs are big. Plate was good for two meals and reasonable price. Round pizza looks amazing and probably will eat that next time. Very busy at 6 on Friday and had to be at least 4 parties waiting for tables.

The food is absolutely delicious!! Absolutely the best sauce, hands down, I've ever had! My grandson said he could just eat the sauce by itself with a spoon!! Granddaughter said, best pizza she's ever had!! Service was great! Everyone is so very friendly. Atmosphere is cozy, and relaxing. We will be back, to try more dishes and the CHEESECAKE!!!!!

As usual, great food, great service. Great atmosphere who definitely go back several more times

We hope to return in future travels. The staff and food were first rate. A cook, not a chef. We heard it from the lady in charge in person.
