The food was delicious! I wasn't expecting much, considering it's a game room and tavern, but I loved every bite! The waitress was super nice, not hovering over us but making sure we had what we needed. And the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect - a fun room full of games and fellow nerds and families! This is our new weekly spot to game!

Me and my friends go here most weeks, it's a fun 3rd place basically. If you need somewhere cheap to make friends of enjoy the company of your current friends you should check this place out on Wednesdays, so many board games and the food is pretty good. The bar people are very nice as well

Such a fun place, my 7 year old has deemed it the "board game library". The food was good, nice portions. The service was excellent, very friendly. All around, great place for a fun afternoon. Update: In answer to your question, as I couldn't post a reply, yes, you are welcome to use the photos on social media. Can't wait to visit again!

Love this place. I've been coming here for well over a year and it's only gotten better. The game selection is top notch. They have everything you could ask for and then some.

I don't come here for the food but it's good. Pretty standard pub food in terms of sandwiches and flatbread style pizza. I don't think they fry anything so nothing is ever greasy.

But really, come for the games and the great staff they have here. They are truly amazing.

This is a really cool gamers cafe right next to "limited run" games.

The staff are super friendly, And seem to love it here. The food selection is interesting, and affordable.

The environment is kid friendly.

This was a fun place to spend and evening. The food was decent and they have tons of games to choose from. It makes more sense with a larger group since you pay a table fee, but we will be back. The staff were very kind and the place was well kept

The best of everything in a social board-gaming place!
The staff is friendly and attentive and the in-house game library is surprisingly huge. Better still, this place has a bright, clean open, feel to it--it's very much a place to play games of all sorts, but it feels more like a bar that welcomes gamers to come do what they do best. The beer selection is great, the food and snacks are tasty and the atmosphere just what you were looking for. Grab a glass of M&Ms and settle in for hours of fun with your friends.

A board game cafe that is a bar instead of a cafe! Really fun premise and really well executed as well. A ton of board games to choose from, plus a nice beer selection and a decent selection of bar food. Spent a really fun 4 hours here with my girlfriend eating dinner and playing board games, would definitely come again.

MTG Commander Nights on Mondays are pretty fun. Staff is nice, warm and welcoming. Some of the people that attend are a little overbearing but it's an overall good group. We have made many friends from attending.

Great place to go for beer and board games. There is a $10 cover charge (2021) to use their board game library but it can be split between the group. Also, if you don't have friends and am an introvert that doesn't have friends you can come on a Friday evening for a meetup group and possibly make friends! The cover charge then will be $2.50 (2021)! There is a bar that serves various beer. Dont overlook the $12 cider bottle. 500ml can last you the entire evening so it could be worth getting that instead of several cans of beer.

The Gamers Geekery and Tavern in Cary, NC is an AWESOME place to spend time playing a wide variety of games (pull out a classic, try something new).. oh and also you can eat and drink while you're there (bonus!!) 🥹🥹🥹 What better combo can you have?? We LOVE games but find that we spend the money to buy them and never find the time to play.. this place allows you to make an event out of it WHILE still being able to try new games! We loved it and will be regulars for sure (especially as our boys get old enough to play as well!!)!! Huge thanks to Lance for making the reservation process easy, and to all of the staff for their help and attentiveness!

This place was amazing! I didn’t know anything about it so I wasn’t there to play games but they had so many and all of the people were really nice. The food was genuinely good and an expensive. Absolutely will come back here! Plus the waitress remembered my name and used it in every conversation we had! She was fantastic :)

Took the family (kid's ages 6 and 4) here to play games and eat lunch. We played Sugar Blast, Hoot Hoot Owl, and Trouble. We all had a good time. I had the Super Mario sandwich and mac and cheese, which was really good.

Had my first visit Gamers Geekery & Tavern last night with the boy. The dogs were solid and we won the Stranger Things trivia. Tons of games and fun stuff to do there. We will certainly be back.

I am one of those people who hasn't really played games much since I was a kid (think Clue, Trouble, Operation, Yahtzee). But, I had so much fun here. What a cool place. Laughed too hard. Pretzel bites and cookies amazing. Strawberry cider was tasty. Thanks!!!

Beer and games! This is a fun place, fantastic beers, ciders and even mead to choose from. We also got some snacks, food was pretty good but definitely more snack options than meals. They do MTG nights as well as D&D, even if you dont play, very fun to see. Great place to make friends, the bartender Alison was fun to talk to as was everyone at the bar :)

This place is a lot of fun, they have a wide variety of games. Only $5 per person, and if you fall in love with a game they are available for purchase! Me and my boyfriend played 2-player catan for the first time and it was so fun we had to buy it. Will be here again with a group to learn how to play regular catan. That game is around $60 by itself so it’s nice to be able to pay just $5 or I think $10 per table to play the game, we were here until it closed and were having so much fun! Definitely check it out if you love board games!!!

What a great gem ya’ll have in Raleigh! I highly recommend this spot for meeting up with a few friends for games-plus. I brought a new colleague who is unfamiliar with modern board games and this was the best experience I could have hoped for. Service: very friendly and helpful. They will let you do your own thing until you come up to the bar and ask for help or to order. Food: Good selection, well prepared, good price. I would rathe come here for a bite than any other chain or similar mainstream restaurant. Game space: large, study, and beautiful tables well-spaced to give you room to walk around. On this Friday night it was busy and very lively. My colleague and I offered to share our table with a couple that came it. Enough space for two two-player games and food. Game Library: I believe it is available on their website. Very nice selection of games. We had plenty for my colleague to learn in and several others I’ve been looking to play. Social: I saw a MTG event going on. I did not see anything on their website about other open table social events to join pickup games or the like. But, if you have someone to go with, or even a small group this place is great.
