South Temple Community Park

Good hiking trail, but a little narrow for biking also. Several active street crossings, so be cautious. Did not see watering for dogs but great bike repair station.

Was affordable summer fun for our family. Busy busy and packed. Everything was better than expected. For 24 dollars for my family my expectations were low, but the facilities were fine, kids were actually behaved, lifeguards everywhere and a small variety of entertainment. Will visit again.

Kids love the playground & long walking sidewalk trail. Water fountain worked & bathroom clean. It's great for walking dogs. Some sports teams use the open field for practice. Bike pump available too. Limited picnic tables so they may want to add more. Overall a nice park.

Always enjoy a morning or afternoon walk in this park when visiting the area.

My kids and I really enjoyed lions junction water park!!! We've a few time and love it a the prices are great. The concession stands have just what you need on a hot summer day in Texas!!!

Very nice running trails, much Oregon connected to adjacent neighborhoods than I anticipated.

best place for family bonding

Check out Lions Junction Waterpark it's very clean lifeguards are everywhere that's comforting. Lots of fun! Very reasonable treats are affordable!

Always clean and trashcan available! They provide Doggy bags for you for free, SO STOP LEAVING IT ON THE GROUND. 😂🤌🏽 Cool disc course that's numbered easily. Safe walking trail moving throughout the whole park and a super fun playground.

Beautiful park! Green grass, clean bathrooms (park bathrooms mind you), frisbee golf and ample parking. We went for a picnic, so no comment on the playground, but it looked nice from where we sat! Definitely a well kept park!

When I heard that it was a city ran water park I was prepared to be underwhelmed but this is a very nice water park. Two large water slides, a kiddy area that is super fun for probably 8 years and below, a lazy river, and a regular swimming pool too. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed this park. My compliments to those who designed, built, and operate this water park. Very nice.

Good place to stretch ones legs.

We took our two toddlers there and there are so much that they were able to do. They loved the train slide and lazy river the most. It was so much fun! There was a lot of older kids and adults too. They have two waterslides and a big pool for just swimming as well.

We had so much fun. Small well maintained water park. It's crowded though so get in line early to avoid standing in line for hours! Didn't like the fact that even Killeen residents have to pay a non resident rate but well didn't have the choice and it's only $1 difference. $7 for residents and $8 for non residents.

This place is great! Great for all age-range of kids. Actually, there is more for the really young ones to enjoy than the olders. I suggest going early as you can, because it gets very busy later in the day. They do not allow food, but will stamp your hand to return and there is a playground/park RIGHT next to the water park. We will be going back!

Great little park for family fun time. I suggest showing up early and parking right at the entrance. No food is allowed, but I suggest bringing water bottles that you can add flavors to! Definitely bring sunscreen and shades. There's a little some thing for everybody. From infants to adults.

Really nice family park

My grandson learned he can swim at this park. We are still working on diving. On a 1 to 10, his dive was a 0. Lol , There is a first for every thing. This park is so much fun, and has discounts for grandparents with a grandchild, on certain days. No beauty contest on these days everyone is viewed through love colored glasses.
