Holiday Inn Express South Lake Tahoe, an IHG Hotel

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great service and a prime location. The location is very close within walking distance of heavenly gondola and all the shopping areas and great restaurants. Breakfast was included and nothing outstanding on the menu, only the usual suspects. Definitely coming here next time.

Came for our 20th wedding a anniversary. I have to say I was slightly hesitant to book a Holiday Inn, but they by far exceeded any expectation and made for an incredible get away. Room was huge, clean and in working order. Grounds were well-kept and very quiet. Already looking forward to going back there for a family vacation in the future and will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Price was very fair too, especially given it's a tourist town.

Great motel tucked away off the boulevard. Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly. Great value too.

The checked in process was very smooth and fast. Craig from the front desk did an AMAZING job. They even sent crib to our room right away.

The rooms are spacious clean and well maintained. The added heated bulb in the bathroom is an awesome treat! Place is conveniently close to major ski resort!

I couldn't ask for better. I would give it 10 🌟 if i could!! Owner had popcorn, hot chocolate and a movie for my kids , she even lend us a small sled to take the kids and have fun in the snow!! Breakfast was on point. I will definitely be staying there next time i visit!!!

Clean and comfortable rooms.
Free breakfast ( pancakes, eggs, variety of bread and fruits, orange juice, coffee, milk , etc.)
(The only negative thing was that a woman who works there during breakfast time was angry because all the bananas have gone so quickly 😂 I heard her speaking in another language other than English and I understood what she said about the bananas and the guests.

Delicious continental breakfast. 15 min walk to beautiful beach with water activity rentals like kayaks and boats and children’s beach playground. 10 min walk to heavenly plaza for restaurants. Excellent for families! Quiet, clean and cozy! Provided an actual small crib with mattress pad and sheets and also have rollaways available. Will definitely be staying here again! Tahoe is so family friendly and beautiful!

We had a great time and our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was wonderful. We asked for our room to be cleaned each day, (which you have to do at any hotel post Covid) and they were happen to do it. We had a nice continental breakfast before we headed to the mountain which was included with our room.
It was nice to be able to park right in front of our room and the location can't be better!! Thanks

We took 2 rooms for 2 days (2 adults and 4 children). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The locations is excellent with a lot of restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean. The hotel area was beautiful. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it.

Great location to Heavenly ski resort and the casinos . Easy to park right in front of the room. I love not having to listen to other people walk down the hallway after their night out or hearing an elevator. Can’t ask for a better continental breakfast which is included with the room. The staff is friendly and willing to help. They are nice to give recommendations for restaurants and shopping.

I had an amazing stay. The room was spotless … so clean! It had all the amenities I needed. I loved the hotel and loved the location. I felt peaceful and relaxed. I also loved Bryan in the vacation club sales office he was absolutely fantastic and provided excellent service. Overall an amazing stay!

This hotel had all the amenities needed for a first time trip to south Lake tahoe. Complimentary breakfast had a variety of foods to choose from. The staff kept the area stocked and clean-leave them a tip!. They are located across from a convenient store and up to a 10 min walk to casinos and pubs. No fee for parking. Pool was clean and open dawn to dusk. Bears do roam the parking lot in the evening looking for food. They didn't bother us-they just want food. Great price and the rooms were roomy and clean.

This property is perfectly located on the Main Street of Tahoe. Easily walkable to great shopping, restaurants, casinos and lake front.

The buildings are tucked back in some tall pines with a feeling of seclusion. Rooms are spacious, clean and the beds and linens are super comfy. I slept great.

They have a nice pool area to hangout in the summer too

We chose this place for the location. It’s only 5 minutes walk to the heavenly village and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff who helped us was Eric. He was very accommodating and professional. The room was a bit outdated but clean. Hot breakfast was included and I thought it was a nice perk. We had the option to either eat it there or bring it to the lake but you need to bring your own to go container.

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to shopping and dining and within minutes driving to beach/lake access. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best spreads I've enjoyed. Lots of choices, such as scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, pancakes, toast, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, fruit, coffee and an assortment of juices.

Great hotel value. Staff (Jessica in particular) was awesome. Clean room, very attractive location. For those who don’t mind walking a little bit, the walk to/from the Heavenly Village Gondola is very doable if physically fit, even while carrying your skis and walking in ski boots. I did it and it wasn’t bad. Overall, I had no complaints with my stay.

A good hotel with very comfortable rooms.Rooms are totally clean and equipped with all the facilities with heater, hot water, air conditioning, microwave, fridge. Location is also at walkable distance to the main downtown area. Highly recommended.

Very quiet, staff very helpful and friendly. Nice rooms a towel bunny greets you on bed as you enter room.
There is breakfast in am..coffee was good, pancakes, yogurt, eggs three styles cereal, oatmeal, toast, muffins.
A treat there were Lime Bikes/scooters in front which my hubby tried out. He said they were fun saw many people using around town. They are not part of hotel but people drop them off after using; very good idea if you didn't want to drive.
