Quality Inn South Lake Tahoe

Hotel was clean and felt safe. The two bedroom apartment we stayed in was comfortable and spacious. Located nicely between the lake and the town. The furniture was a little dated, but all in all, was a good value stay. We were even lucky enough to experience snow in spring, it was so beautiful!

Overall a great stay! Check in was easy and staff was very friendly, roof was really comfortable. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to stay in a good location for a little less money. Overall a good value and would return.

Sherry the front desk manager was super helpful and accommodating! She provided the best customer service and informed me about the choice program and gave me great suggestions for things to do in Tahoe . The room was quiet and clean . Breakfast was included and good ! Highly recommend!

This stay far exceeded my expectations. Usually quality inn is known for budget hotels but this place was 10 times nicer than the one I stayed at last week in Mobile AL.

The free breakfast is something not to be missed. It even has an automatic pancake maker which was pretty entertaining.

The building itself was nice and recently updated.

My room was great. Most comfy bed ever.

Even had a little balcony.

I took the shuttle bus from Reno to get here and got dropped at the Harvey’s stop and it was about a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

Short walk to all the action and reaturaunts and stuff.

Also want to add that I traveled solo and felt nothing but safe walking back at night.

Room was extremely clean and quiet. Pretty modern too, and equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Breakfast was great as well! Would stay again.

I really like small hotel feel and that I can park next to my room. The staff is communicative and helpful. I miss the log cabin themed details but the new remodel is nice. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms, and more amenities than other hotels. I usually stay a few days.

I had low expectations but this hotel exceeded them, so for a Quality Inn i would give this place 5 stars. For the price point, I usually don’t even expect clean rooms but these rooms actually felt very clean! The breakfast selection was what you would expect, and definitely filling with the waffle maker. We travelled with a dog so the location was very nice and quiet for a morning/evening walk with the dogs. Overall: pleasantly surprised for the price of the hotel!

Loved it! Private beach for only $5/person compared to $30/pp. Rooms were updates and clean.

We absolutely love it here! Beds and pillows are so comfortable. QUIET! This place is quiet! It is hard to find peace in a hotel, but this place is exceptional! They have it together here. Real food for breakfast; sausage, eggs, waffles, fruit, coffee and so much more. Everything is within walking distance, food, fun, the beach, skiing. You can use the hot tub any time you want. There is no cut off time for using things in your own room. Amazing! The staff is always friendly and professional. We go every year and it is the same staff, we know them by name now. We had our wedding there, it was so stress free.

Great hotel! A special thank you to Sherry and Diana at the front desk. They were very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The cleaning crew and maintenance personnel were also helpful and quick to respond to our requests. We really enjoyed our stay. I give this hotel 5 stars. Great location, great price, room was clean and was just like pictured. The free breakfast was a plus. They had a variety of foods to choose from and food was tasty. We will definitely stay here again.

Love this place!! Stayed here multiple times when it snows great place for kids and breakfast… Be careful when the Bears are out at night!!

Off the beaten track. Quiet and comfy. The hotel is a little out-dated but still very comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and my room had a door that opened onto a patio where I could sit and enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. I'd stay again, no questions.

Special shoutout to Maria G at the front desk. This lady took special care and attention with my reservation. She made me feel very welcome. 'Bravo' Maria on a job well done.

I stayed here twice. It is a clean and cheap hotel. Breakfast is very good.

Love this hotel! We've been here 6 times now and absolutely love the price, rooms, and breakfast. Staff is always happy and fun to talk too!

My Wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn South Lake Tahoe for our 50th year together Anniversary and our 47th Wedding Anniversary, July 31st. We booked a room for 3 nights, 4 days. Right away the Wonderful Staff upgraded us to a King Bedroom on the ground floor. After we were settled down in our room a very nice Staff Person brought us a bottle of Champagne and two Champagne Glasses! It was a surprise and most unexpected! We had not received such service since we stayed at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas for our 35th Wedding Anniversary. Needless to say our room was wonderful, we walked one block down to the Lake Tahoe Beach Shore and all at a very reasonable Hotel price. We went to the Chart House for our Anniversary Dinner but the highlight was driving about 8 or 9 miles to Camp Richardson on the Lake Tahoe's Shore to have our third night's dinner at the Beacon Restaurant and Bar right on the beach! We enjoyed some of the best Ribeye steaks we've ever had and the star of that dinner was the classic Cocktail invented at the Beacon called the "Rumrunner" which is "a whole lot of drink in a 16oz glass!

Stayed here in 2021. A little late on my review 😅 I wanted something not in a hotel since I am from Vegas, close to the beach and also easy to navigate as a tourist on my own. It was so perfect! Hotel guests get free access to Nevada Beach down the road. The motel was recently remodeled. Rooms are comfy. Ac was working great . They have laundry areas and tables outside so people can chit chat. Lots of Lime scooters in the area or if you want to walk it is close to everything.

This is a good hotel. The rooms and the bathrooms are small but they make up for it with the price. They have free breakfast and plenty of free parking. They have a lot of rooms on either side of the road. Would recommend

Pretty good hotel for the price. The rooms were newly renovated (still smelled like fresh paint), the breakfast was surprisingly decent breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, along with normal continental breakfast items, the staff was friendly (for the most part), and the location was convenient. The comforter, ironing board, and some of the curtains had small stains on them, but they didn't seem dirty. Overall would recommend if you can get a decent deal on the room.

Stayed 6 nights. Yes, it is a little dated, but our room was very clean, especially for a quick clean. We wanted to check in early (2hours early) & they gladly had the room cleaned early for us. Even gave us a pass for the beach while waiting. Had a hold put on the card we checked into a different place with, that had cancelled on us last minute, & the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate getting us in. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful, in fact, they have been the best staff I have encountered in all of my travels! Breakfast was great. The beach is less than a block away. Casinos & Heavenly Village are within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
