Ten Crows BBQ

Went to Ten Crows on a Saturday night on New Year's Day, so it was as busy as you might expect. We put our name in with the hostess and walked around the village for a bit, then headed back to check out the band and grab a pre-dinner drink. We didn't even get our order in before our table opened up and we were seated.

The beer selection was a tad lean for a BBQ joint, but the whiskey selection was top notch. I still found an IPA I liked, but I would have preferred a few more choices. Whiskey drinks, next time!

I got the ribs. They were fall off the bone tasty, and the house sauce was tangy and plentiful. My son got wings, a massive order that I had to (happily) help him finish. My wife got the brisket. I tried to get her to go splits with my ribs, but she didn't take the offer. No complaints on the ribs, but I screwed up! The brisket was amazing! She was kind enough to share a few bites, but I wish it'd been my main course. The fries & slaw were excellent. Heaping servings of everything.

I'm not sure how often they have live music, but it was great. 4 piece playing classic rock. If our son wasn't with us, we probably would have bellied up to the bar after dinner and stayed a lot longer.

Service was quick and friendly. In all, exactly what I look for in a BBQ joint in a ski town. Next time, Brisket & Whiskey for me!

Great place to hangout for dinner and drinks. We love the outdoor seating area. For those staying at the Marriott, they offer free pork rind which was tasty and freshly made. Wings looks dry but they are juicy and flavorful. Tri-tip is also worth trying.
Friendly waitress and dog friendly.
Night I was there they had Piggyback bourbon for $5 so make sure to ask for any daily specials.

Stayed at the Hotel Beckett so popped in for dinner on Sunday evening, pleasantly surprised they had live music outside and the fire pits going didn't expect that on a Sunday. Inside sports on all the TVs

📍 Smoked garlic mashed potatoes

The tri-tip dip was good. Large portion only problem was the a ju sauce leaked and the bag ripped before I even got back to the hotel room, those mashed potatoes were awesome.

Fantastic little hole in the Wall restaurant. I stumbled across it because all the other places had 1-2 hour wait. We are here in the ski season in a enclosed outdoor patio area with heaters. Food was fantastic, serving sizes were great, waitress Anna was right on point. Definitely will be back. The pulled pork sandwich was overloaded with a ton of meat. The wings we got the 2 lb and the flavors we mixed it up among a couple different sauces, they were a hit. The kids size mac and cheese for $6 is more than enough and the coconut cream pie for dessert well.... We basically fought for the spoon!!!

On Wednesday 12/26/2018, after skiing for the whole day since 10 am to 4 pm, we were so hungry and walked up to this BBQ restaurant, and it actually turned out great. Since everywhere was so packed and all had to wait over 2 hours, we were able to get a outdoor table within an hour, which we were pretty happy with.

We ordered a 2 lbs wings as of starter, 3 plates of BBQ Ribs, Salad with Fried Chicken.

Both waitress and the hostess were really nice, and really fast on sending in our order and also have plates delivered.

Good service. Food was very good. We ordered loaded fries (wow), the brisket and turkey with mash, collard greens, beans and mac n cheese. Really enjoyed the hot cocktail cider as well.

this place was amazing! after walking around for what felt like hours to find a place to eat we fell upon this restaurant and couldn’t be happier! we had the best server ever and the food came instantly. i definitely recommend!!

We came in for dinner. The staff was amazing an attentive. The outside heated patio was perfect for dinner. I felt the prices were reasonable for the amount of food too. Especially the kid’s menu. Two full corn dogs an tons of fried. The adult fries could use more of the wonderful seasoning they had on it. But not a deal breaker. I ordered the sweet tea chicken sandwich and all I can say is I want it again. I did have to take off one of the pieces of chicken to get the sandwich closed but still. I should have also asked for more of the Alabama sauce cause it was delicious an I wanted more. As you can see from our photo. Everyone plates were cleared ( I know pointless pic but I wanted to show you how delicious it was lol). Hope to eat here again!

Amazing service and great good at Ten Crows BBQ! The pulled pork really stands out of the pack. The mac&cheese on the other hand, on its own, was one of the worst I have ever tasted, so avoid that dish, or make sure you add a ton of stuff to it! Basically, it's more like mac&cream... But thankfully, after telling our waitress, she graciously remove one of the mac&cheese from the bill. And again, by adding some pulled pork to it, and some sauces, it was actually quite good.

It's hard to find good bbq in California, but I was pleasant surprised by this place. I got a full pound of pulled pork and a side of mac. I also had a glass of sweet tea, which is brewed in house

Super soft BBQ I have eaten before. Super kind servers with great vibe. Highly recommended this restaurant if you're looking for decent BBQ dining at South Tahoe.

Great atmosphere, friendly staffs, fresh beers, best barbecue brisket in town. Therefore it gets busy during prime dinner time, get here early or for a late dinner.

Great staff. "Loaded Fries" were best I've ever tasted. Plus good happy hour options and outdoor seating.

Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious drinks! I haven’t eaten the food yet, but it smells incredible. Make sure to ask for Al and MaMa (Jeanette) and tell them Cortney said “hi!”

Me and my family just went in to get some drinks and some appetizers to go with, there nachos were amazing and there drinks were so good, the waitress was so helpful with our order, it was amazing dont miss out on this restaurant when your in town

Sat at the bar and had dinner. The food was great and the selection of Whiskey is amazing. Someone really knows high end whiskies. Highly recommend sitting at the bar and being served by Rachel and J C.

Great location love the vybz and food especially the sweet chile wings service was fast ,server was really pleasant.

Such good BBQ that I wish we weren't just passing through. Very good pulled pork and baked beans (and french fries!). The ribs are a stand-out. I would be remiss not to mention the pork rinds, which come hot out of the fryer, light and airy with perfect crunch, sprinkled with salt and paprika. Perfect with a cocktail (or beer, if you swing that way). And speaking of cocktails, the old fashioned is a thing of beauty - not to be missed if you're into (or want to get into) classic cocktails. Definitely on our list of places to return to, so hopefully we'll be in this part of the world again!

I had the tri tip dip very delicious and my son had the 1lb ribs, meat came right off the bone
