Forest Suites Resort

Our family of four had an amazing time at Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Village! This place is incredibly family-friendly, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast selections were great, offering a variety of tasty options to start our day. The resort is clean and well-maintained, and we loved that it’s within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and hiking trails. Thank you for a memorable vacation!

Very nice place, cool staff. Hot breakfast in the morning. My kids liked the pool, and we were pretty close to plenty of shopping and the lake. Price was also very good, thank you guys for a pleasant stay!

The hotel is just a beautiful piece of property with great views. Prime location and close to the Nevada border. I love this place because it's in a perfect spot and everything you need is within walking distance. I just love Tahoe.

These guys went absolutely above and beyond our expectations; I took my four girls there solo for a spring break vacation. They had a ton of different activities and lots of things for them to do every night after they had come back from having fun all day. Everybody from the hospitality to the janitorial staff was extraordinarily helpful and kind. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much you are all awesome❤❤❤

My family and I stayed her for the first time and it definitely won’t be our last. The room was amazing! I wish I had the front desk girls names she’s was beyond polite and accommodating, she had glasses and teal highlights. The hotel is literally right behind the strip so it was easy to take my toddlers out to see some snow then be back in our room warm and cozy within a few minutes. My absolute favorite thing about this hotel was how accommodating to families it truly is, from smores for kids to wine for the grown ups, and a great breakfast spread. Thank you for making this much needed family getaway one for the books. We’ll see you next year!

Fantastic place to stay - right at the Heavenly Village! The Presidential Suite is INCREDIBLE w/ its own Hot Tub in the Room! Spacious, Renovated, and full of Great Amenities! The 'All You Can Eat' breakfast is pretty great too! Don't miss the Complimentary Wine Hour with Awesome Jerry!

We went there over spring break and our suite was amazing, so much room and the service was great! We were right next to all the action. It was a great spot to be (:

So grateful Forest Suites was able to get us in quickly after we showed up at Harvey’s and our Balcony Suite that was reserved was no longer available after having scheduled for months? Harveys offered us a king “lake view” room that was so bad we immediately loaded up our belongings from our room with the bellman, reloaded the entire vehicle and found Forest Suites. After planning this trip for a year, driving for two days from Washington (splitting our drive into two 5 hour days) with a newborn we were very frustrated to get here and have to deal with the mess Caesars has created here with their hotels/casinos. Forest Suites got us into a great room immediately with a full kitchen, nice size living room and dining area. They have great accommodations and very thankful for the front desk staff and managers who have been so kind and helpful. We are not charged nightly for parking, it’s very easy access from your rooms to your vehicle and not over crowded. The jacuzzi, fire pit and BBQ pits located directly under the Heavenly gondola are great. We couldn’t ask for easier access as it’s only a stones throw to the Heavenly village to restaurants, shops, gondola, etc. Harvey’s didn’t even offer room service or have microwaves in the King room for us to heat up our newborns formula . So grateful for the staff here in redeeming our very stressful arrival into South Lake and having to deal with Harvey’s. We know where we will be spending our annual trip again next year. We lived here for many years and are sad to see how these new casino hotels/resort companies that have taken over have ruined things. Thank you staff and the owners of this resort for keeping Lake Tahoe a great place to visit and truly caring about their guests.

Amazing little family spot! Our one bedroom poolside suite was squeaky clean upon arrival, there was new appliances and a well stocked kitchen. It seemed like the bed and pullout couch were also new. Staff was great, breakfast was good. Location was perfect, situated right above heavenly village.

My son loved the game room, heated pool, spa and fire pit. We will definitely be staying here again

Now here's a place that's interesting. Absolutely love the rooms with the patios. Parking is challenging but possible. They are doing some construction. In general I really liked it. You can have dogs it's a great location for walking. So many things walkable one of the best for driving without traffic. You can easily avoid traffic at this hotel where others you're forced to deal with it. I really like this location a lot. They have a breakfast, a gym. They have a pool and spa dog friendly it's a good place.

The service was exceptional at this hotel and I was pleasantly shocked. The staff was really friendly and provided great tips to visit and gave us options to eat around, drive around etc.
Their location right at the heart of everything near south Lake Tahoe and NV state line makes it worth it, rather than finding car parking which is sometimes expensive around this area.
They also offered free breakfast with a huge continental spread from 7-10 Am and was worth it.
The rooms were super clean, renovated and everything inside was functioning unlike other hotels around in this area.
The hot water pressure was good, parking wasn’t an issue, breakfast was good. So overall a great stay. Looked like a kid friendly place and gondola ride is right across the hotel.
They also offered us free wine as part of guest services

I researched many hotels in South Lake Tahoe before picking Forest Suites Resort, so glad I did! The location is perfect, right behind heavenly village shopping and restaurants plus a easy 10-15 minute walk to the casinos. The lake/beaches are about a 25 minute walk or easy car ride if want to explore the lake area. Breakfast buffet every morning was delicious and lots of options, plenty of variety. Love that breakfast is served until 10am, can take your time in the morning without having to rush. Would definitely stay here again!

Its a pretty good 3 star hotel. I stayed for the first time here while visiting lake tahoe. I am big on healthy cooking and they got everything from microwave, owen, all utensils to fridge. Location is pretty good too. Rooms are clean and gentry is nice too. They have free breakfast although i dint eat there. Its a pet friendly place. Gym is not in good condition so they need to take care of... Overall 4/5. Recommended.

Great experience from beginning to end!
Check-in was easy, parking is decent, and everything is within easy walking distance. The staff were all very nice, polite, and helpful! Lots of amenities included for the very reasonable resort fee - less than almost anywhere in the nearby area.

Great location for walking to Heavenly Village at Stateline and the gondola to the mountain. Many great shops for anything you may need.

The hot tub was hot 🔥 which was perfect. They even provide s'mores kits for guests on certain weekends! Fun for the kids. Breakfast (included with resort fee) was staffed and had good options. My King Suite room was huge! An excellent deal for the price and size, which included a full kitchen, dining table, living room with pullout bed, and separate bedroom.

After having read mixed reviews I was leery. Pleasantly surprised check in was a breeze, the suite was clean we had 7 people and had plenty of room. The kitchen and bath rooms could use an update but everything was in working order. Variety of food choices at breakfast was on point. Walking distance to Heavenly Village and the Gondolas. Definitely will do it again. Thanks to the staff for a great weekend.

Had a great stay here for a wedding that was in Gardnerville, NV. The two bed two bath suite was very spacious and comfortable with sufficient heat - thank goodness because it had just snowed two days before we arrived! Breakfast was included with our stay and we got to enjoy pancakes, cheese omelettes, and breakfast sandwiches. Lots of options. Even their fitness center was just what I needed to get in a nice workout. But the staff was above and beyond, no joke. Every single person there was so kind and helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (as two couples) and would definitely recommend to others!

Wonderful vacation spot! Great hotel, awesome location next to Heavenly Village, friendly welcoming staff, delicious included breakfast, adequate strength machines in the gym (although the treadmills did not work), clean hot tub, fun game room, convenient parking, easy check in/out, nearby food options, clean warm rooms (normal amenities, slightly outdated, no smart TV). Got a Groupon for the stay and it was worth the value. Would stay again!
