The quality of work is amazing. They just finished the second full paint job for me. The paint on both cars is amazing, like glass. They are always pleasant and professional. Its a small shop so they are not great at answering the phone because they are all working in the shop. You want a secretary's response, call MACO. blaaah. Stop by any time and they will take the time to explain what is going on and walk you through the shop. I barely know what a screw driver is, so taking the time to explain the process was greatly appreciated. I have stopped by at all times of the day and they are always welcoming.
The quality of work and their eye for perfection is beyond fantastic. They would continually tell me, "it has to be right". Trust me, They make it right; down to the smallest detail. STOP BY AND SHOW THEM YOUR PROJECT. YOU WONT' BE DISAPOINTED.

I just picked up my car from Fame Hot Rods... Not only do the Mayers do an amazing job with restorations, they fixed my car from an accident, beautifully. Top notch, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I believe it was 2019 and I brought my 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo into fame. I met with Andy and Rob and we discussed a new paint job with some airbrushing instead of decals. I specifically asked if they were a one stop shop? Meaning could I get the whole car done there. Rims, new carpet, steering wheel, headliner, console parts that type of thing. I was told absolutely they can get and do it all. After they started the project I was informed that clients usually bring in there own parts to replace the ones in the car. If I knew how to get parts for it I wouldn’t need them. Long story short they had my car for 16 months. They did along with there friend who did the motor. When I get the car back it had a paint run in the bumper, there were several fish eyes on the hook roof and deck of the vehicle. They seemed to buff out a lot of other defects in the paint but the car was never detailed or polished. I was never given any instructions about how to take care of the paint job or touch up paint which both were eequested more then once. The molding that was put back on was held in place by double face tape. They lost my rear window antenna and never replaced it. I have found several molding clips, screws, and plastic molding missing. They didn’t replace any of it. The total of all the bills was 8800 and I have them 10000 to do the job in the beginning. I won the court case against them for the extra 1200 but have yet to see a dime out of them. I will be following up in court again to get my money owed back to me for over payment. Will not recommend to anybody.
