I've been to a few laundromats in this area in the past couple months(mid Jan-late Feb.) I've been here twice now, once during the day & once in the evening, its been clean both times & NEVER BUSY! like it suggests online with that lil listing that shows busiest times of operation. Anyway, both times I've been here I'm the only one inside using the machines, both times IF anyone else was there it was someone had stuff in the dryer while they ran errands or they sat out in thier cars. But both times it was clean & quiet, didnt smell, didnt see anything gross(like bugs walking across the folding tables) It did get a lil hot inside with the machines were running but I propped the door open & it cooled off quickly.
Price wise seemed about average for washing & drying. Does have an operating coin machine & soap/dryer sheet machine. Bathroom is inside bar next door & very clean! Besides the standard drinks the bar also offers a food menu so you can get something to eat while your laundry is in process. Bar also has a few gambling machines to at while u wait. Friendly staff!
Only complaints are, 1. the parking lot can get a lil crowded in the evening (7pm-ish) so suggest backing into a space to have an easy exit. Also, lighting could be a lil brighter out there. 2. the dryers could be a lil better.
The dryers in my local laundromat in Chicago worked best the day of & after the lint traps were cleaned out. Maybe the ones here were full or getting there?
I honestly don't know how often they get cleaned out at any laundromat daily, weekly, monthly or even quarterly? Its not like at home where you clean em out before or after every use.
All in all, definitely worth the 15-20 minute drive from Dixon.

My husband stays in Dixon for work & I see him weekly so he usually only has 1 load to do here when I come out. Most of the time I would just take it back to Chicago with me & do it there but I got caught in the snow storm & basicly had alot more laundry then normal. So decided to do it all out here BUT after googling "laundromat near me" I found there was only 2 "laundromats" in Dixon, drove over to both & was disgusted! 1 didn't even look like it was open & the other looked like it shouldn't have been open! Dont know how desperate you gotta be to use either of them! Googled next closest read reviews went to the first 1 with highest rating & even though it was good. it was VERY busy & took forever! Some customers where pretty rude, some were a lil overly friendly, lol.
Figured I should see what the other 2-3 atleast looked like & just what I might be in store if I need em again.
1 that was close looked REALLY small & almost missed it but read more reviews & took them off the list due to lack of management communications & a few complaints from people. Finally, got to stop at Silver City & everything seems great so far so, Thanks Silver City for being clean & quiet, your worth the 15-20 minute drive.(u could put the tv on )

Generally clean and organized, its just a little too expensive and there is cigarette smell coming probably from the bar next door

Nice and clean. Only wished the bathroom was not in the bar.

Clean dryers work great.
