Absolutely fabulous, I would suggest the spicy salsa with the chips. The chips btw are absolutely the best around. Drinks were great and the shrimp Diablo was cooked great and had a nice heat.

Really good food. The "to go" taco kits are awesome and come with so many extras. There is a general seating area and a separate bar area. Looks like owners are working on updating the place so it looks a bit run down inside, but it adds to the atmosphere of being an old dive place.

One of my favorite for long time good people good food friendly owner and workers served good food and drinks and it worth it love this place no complaints no questions no problems

That was second time that I was there. I live in Rockford. My sister lives in Sterling and it's one of her favorite places to eat and the portions are awesome. The food is awesome in the service was awesome

Taco tuesday!! The service was really good, the food was really good. I loved the salsa and the white queso. I had the flauta dinner, it was great. I've been there several times, and never had a bad experience.

First time here but we will definitely be going back. Loved the ground beef. Boys had the Super Burritos and they were delicious as well. Can't wait for our next trip.

Last night was the first time we tried Willy's. We got the Mexican Buffet. Food was by far the best Mexican food in Sterling. Food was seasoned perfect. We had a variety of hot and spicy as well as mild food available on the buffet. The chips and salsa was perfect a must have. If you like them spicier ask for the fire salsa if is great but warning spicy. The staff was great. Very polite, helpful and will to answer your questions about the food. Service was quick and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be back again to try the regular menu items in the future.

On the rocks marquaritas were spot on. Triple fajitas were outstanding. Service was top shelf

First, I'll admit that I had my doubts driving that far out of town to a Mexican place called Willy's, but I'm glad to say those doubts were put to rest. I'm not sure what the customer ate who said his food was tasteless because it could not have been more opposite. It was a little pricey, but after seeing the quality of the meat/food used, I can understand the pricing. I got the triple fajitas, and after tasting the steak, I'll just be getting the Texas fajitas next time... YUMMMMM! My friend got a pork plate and he was so pleased! The only unpleasant thing was the longer wait than most Mexican places, but if that's the food you get, who cares! Oh, and the short stocky guy was an OK guy 😁 and the TV was off which is fine because you're there to eat food, not rate a restaurant on their TV access. Keep up the good work, Willy!

Good Mexican food and it seemed very authentic. The service was good. However there was only one other couple in there besides my friend and me. So one server could have easily taken care of everything. Which would make it seem like very good service.

So EVERYONE LISTENS UP!!! I've been eating at this place since I was 5yrs old!!! not kidding not joking for real! I know the management also. eating here is honest to god REAL authentic Mexican food. The waiting staff is under manned and has always been that way forever. BUT the food is AMAZING!!! PLEASE eat here and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, clean, delicious Mexican foods and very good service. Plus priced very reasonable. Try the beef soup, it's so-ooooo good. The chips and salsa very good too and a full bar for drinks and cold beers. The toastdas are wonderful and a full meal. Everything I've eaten there is well above the run of the mill Mexican food I experience at other places. Sterling is very fortunate to have several good Mexican food restaurants. Willy's is always a grand choice.

Best Mexican food in town! Willy's style with any beer of your choice is to die for! I've been going here since I was a kid and I am never disappointed. Great place to eat and great staff.

The service was wonderful and friendly, and the food plays the part. Best thing to get here... Is anything on the menu. The complimentary chips are so amazing and it's worth coming out to the location. 11/10 would recommend and is really a treat for all locals. Yay wooooooooooooo

I was very happy with my veggie corn tortilla tacos. I got this as a gluten-free choice they were very good. The service was great and my lime Margarita was absolutely delicious

Our family has loved this place since the 80"s when they started in the old Jenny"s grocery store. Best authentic, delicious food you can find. And amazing margaritas! Always order a large!!

Willy's is truly authentic Mexican food bursting with flavor! The lunch buffet is amazing and the staff are so friendly and inviting!! Margaritas are definitely something to experience and so is the Willy's beer in the big mug with tomato juice...forget what it was called but YEOWZA!!

The best Mexican food in the Midwest. They make really good chips and salsa. Enjoyable times, good beer, and a nice casino there. The service is good too.
