Great food! Love the twice baked potatoes 🥔 Our waitress was nice. friendly and informative. We were in town visiting and came here. What a huge place. We will definitely come back. Very western. Great food. One thing is they need more waitresses.

Very friendly wait staff. The country fried steak was house made, not from a box. They also make their own breaded pork tenderloins. Others really enjoyed their prime rib. Lots of seating. Very clean.

We come here every time we are in Sterling! Sometimes making excuses to go tbh as it’s an hour away from us. But the food is so good! It’s all homemade and worth the drive! Other reviews about service must’ve forgotten we are in a post Covid world and IL was one of the most impacted states in regards to restaurants. Not to mention everyone is short staffed because no one wants to work anymore. Gotta remember that when you complain about wait times etc!

Stopped in at evening time and enjoyed a great Burger. I recommend the Western Style Burger with onion rings. Thumbs up!

We had a small get together with family sunday night.The food was spectacular! The service was the best we've had at the wagon wheel. Our waitress was spectacular. The new potato salad on the salad bar is great. Please keep it. My steak was cooked to perfection. This was by far our best visit to the wagon wheel.

First time there. Waitress was attentive, pleasant, and friendly. Salad bar was fresh and all homemade salads and dressings. The food was delicious. Will definitely return.

This place is great! Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious! Had the prime rib special. Queen sized prime rib, twice baked potato, full salad bar n soup and a whole ear of sweet corn all for $14. Totally worth every penny and more. The meat was so flavorful and tender and the corn came from the chef's own garden. We'll definitely be returning for many more meals and drinks. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun as well.

We've been here a few times now and must say we were pleasantly surprised. Casual and homey, Almost everything is homemade and fresh. They dont overstock the salad bar, but always keep items available so they are fresh instead of sitting there unused. Entrees are good size. The homemade soup is always good, no matter what kind, especially when you add the homemade croutons.

The food was great, the waitress was on the ball, didn't have to ask for anything the atmosphere was great, it was in a country setting and decor was awesome

Wife and I ate supper. Platter was was. Wife had tenderloin Platter. I had fish Platter. Great food and plenty of it.

Fast, friendly service, good food, right price. We had the soup/salad bar & 3 beef tostadas. Salad bar was pretty and fresh. Tostadas were bountiful and tasty! We were road-tripping from Des Moines to Chicago and the Wagon Wheel never disappoints.
