Whiskey Barrel

Since, we moved back last summer, this has been our favorite place to get food and drinks in the area. The two best bartenders in the area, taking care of me last night. Thanks Nick and Angelica for taking the time to talk music and life. Great food, great service, great vibes. So far WB is the winner of my burrito quest - to find the best Chicago style burrito. Also the place has good salads (according to Holly). Good wings too. Two pool tables and outdoor seating - you cant go wrong.

Loved every minute spent at the Whiskey Barrel. Not only are all the food options we've tried there were amazing but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I feel that the owner and employees take very good care of their establishment. You can tell from the clean windows, floors and tables. Not once ounce of dust or dirt seen! The food is worth the money and portion size is fantastic. We will definitely keep coming back and recommend to everyone!!! Keep up the amazing customer service and congratulations on such a wonderful place!

We always get the Mac & Cheese pulled pork burger, and it's delicious.. this most recent trip, our friends got Steak Nachos. Wow, is all i can say.. A big can brought out to the table, and as they pull the can up a monstrous pile of nachos, cheese, toppings emerge. Enough to feed 4 easily! Amazing
We've always had great service here. The portions are very good, and the prices really are very good compared to many other places I've been to for comparable food and serving size. Highly recommend!!

First time here. Very nice place . We'll maintained. Very clean. Come for lunch . Got my money worth . Good , I mean very good amount of food for they money. Had take home for next two days !!! Got nachos, enough for 5 maybe 6 people!! Hamburger , was a little dry but good flavor and good amount of fries. Got a large drink in large cups .....all around very good !!! A mist go again

First time there, reminder kitchen closes at 7pm Sunday & 8pm other nights. Bummed we stopped in to late to eat. We will go back for food . Had a drink & prices were spot on.
The place was clean & bartender was very nice. Looking forward to when a band is playing. Lots of room inside and outside (fenced in area).

So if you’re lucky enough to get Frankie as a server you’ll enjoy great service, pub food at a totally reasonable price. We had our drinks and appetizers promptly served and relaxed at the pool table and dart boards while our meal was cooked fresh and delicious. Our arrive time was early evening and we could tell the crowd was ramping up for some live music. A good time for our family to head home.

Great food. Huge portions. Good, open atmosphere, darts and pool. Took the whole family, and everyone left satisfied. Solid staff. We are new to the area and this is definitely a place we will be coming back to!

Our wrap was filling and good thing we split. Salad was fresh and good. Looks like a fun place to socialize.

My husband is in town for work for the past year. We stumbled upon the whiskey barrel one day out exploring. I have to say, their food is amazing! The prices are also very reasonable. I get the pow pow wings and he gets the street tacos. Last time I ordered the nachos. They were big enough to feed four people. Definitely one of my all time favorite places to eat and drink. Oh and the Mac and cheese? Yummmmmmmm

So happy I finally got to stop in! Love the interior, vibe is excellent, food is amazing and I can't wait to come back!

Great bar, great staff. The food is awesome too, the beer is cold. Open and well spaced during COVID. Will I be back...already been there twice this week.

I had the Alamo Burger and it was delicious. I love the tots too.

Me and the Wife stopped for some lunch. She had a Classic Chicago style Hotdog and fries, just as good if we got it from a Chicago staple. I on the other hand hand one of their specialty Burgers, A Hangover burger, 1/3 lb patty with Hash browns, gravy, and toped with a fried egg. The thing tasted delicious.

Had the Firkin Nachos and the Poutine Burger for lunch. Every thing was amazing and tasted great!! Kelsey was awesome as usual!
