Arthur's Garden Deli

Awesome sandwich. Going through town and wanted something local and freshly made. The sandwich is one of my favorite deli sandwiches if not my new #1. Fresh soft bread and having it with the “works no tomato” toppings really set this apart from others. Will come back next time I’m in town!

Adorable local deli! Apparently number 1 for LUNCH. As a first time customer…this was no surprise! They were patient with our indecisiveness and offered suggestions which we loved. The outside and inside is clean and sets you back in time…AND I haven’t even talked about the food yet!!

Exceptional flavor! We had a 7 inch #2 Arthur’s Choice sub with the works, full #6 Ham, Salami, and Provolone with the works on a spinach wrap, and a spinach wrap #16 tuna with tomato, lettuce, and onions. Every bite was worth it!! Mine was the #6 and the salty meats, sweet-hot Dijon etc was full flavor every taste.

Excellent little deli! We've only been a handful of times but now we make an effort to stop when passing through Illinois. Food is great, well priced and the staff is always friendly. Would highly suggest for those looking for a local place

Wonderful food. I arrived just before a Saturday burst of business. There's something here to please almost everyone. It's miles better than any chain sandwich shop, with options like pasta salad and quiche.

Really good. Worth the extra time off the interstate. Really fresh bread, good soups, and yummy deserts. Exit 41 on interstate 88. Rock Falls. We were going to go to Subway… boy am I glad we didn’t!!!

It's a smaller location so the menu is smaller. No baked potatoes. But everything they had was a good quality and fresh. The sandwich and chili were great. The employees were friendly and efficient. The store seemed very clean. Even the ladies room was clean.
Nice music as well. The radio station or playlist was nice.
I'd go here again for sure.

EXCELLENT PLACE FOR LUNCH! Very clean, charming atmosphere. Affordable sandwiches were fresh, filling, and absolutely delicious! We will be back!

Pros: Good food, fresh, lots to choose from and reasonably priced.
Cons: Dine-in seating for large parties can be scarce when they’re busy so plan accordingly (not really a Con but should be noted).

Followed the signs from I-88 to a small building that is loaded with amazing sandwiches, mac and cheese, soups, chocolate covered turtles, and frozen yogurt. Love this place and will for sure visit again!

I saw a sign on the highway advertising this place on my next exit. Sounded a lot better than McDonald's and it was! Ordered the "work of art" sandwich. With "the works". It was an unusual combination of meats but it was really yummy. It was also huge. Cute cozy environment inside. Very quick service.

Traveling across the Midwest there is nothing better than finding a restaurant that’s NOT a food chain and see that since 1977 this place has been doing something right. Awesome atmosphere and decor that made me feel the soup was cooked with some love. Thank you and to many more years of business. Xmas and fresh plants outside with real flowers at every table.

I haven't had a sandwich this good in quite a while. There have been so many shops that have opened in the past few years but this is one of the top shops.

Wide variety of deli sandwich,soup,salad,potatoe. Frozen yogurt with toppings.

Great place to eat if you are from out of town, try the work of Art sandwich with a turtle desert.

I was there today. The two ladies behind the counter were really friendly. I got a corned beef sub that was very good. I also got a big caramel nut thing with chocolate that was excellent. My cardiologist is happy that I don't live close enough to go here all the time.

The best old school deli sandwich you can find. And with so many sides, desserts, and baked potatoes... mmmmm

We love Arthur's, Met here with family who was traveling through the area. We had Chicken and cheddar sub, Chicken bacon cheddar sub. macaroni and cheese, macaroni salad, chips and a milk chocolate cashew turtle. As always, everything was fresh and delicious.

The food is always delicious at Arthur's, and the counter staff members are friendly and helpful. They are quite patient with our kids, too. We love visiting!
