After reading a lot of negative reviews of this campground I was a bit worried about coming here. Seriously come and make your own opinion. This is a great park. I feel the people that have complained are the people that should be staying at the Marriott 😂. Seriously this is everything a campground should be and more.
I do see why people do comment it’s so hard to get into this park during busy season. More then half the spots are full time rigs. But really someone needs to help pay the bills year round so………

Absolutely beautiful park, good washer and dryer with credit card payment. Lodge game room is a little run down, could use a refresh. We loved the dog park and mini-putt. Customer service was friendly and top-notch. We had a change in plans and they worked with us to let us stay an extra night. Wish we could have stayed longer. Verizon had barely 1 bar of signal, but with our cell booster we were able to get calls and pictures. Excellent Starlink service. Easy navigation with our 40' Class A. Incredible value. Makes me glad to be a Thousand Trails Member.

We got lucky enough to get a spot right on the lake. It's absolutely beautiful. The park is very quiet especially for how busy it is. Great staff! Super attentive! Great views

This was not our planned trip, we were supposed to be in North Carolina for a week but the campground was not acceptable so we left after only staying one night. We called Thousand Trails after leaving to see if there was another campground nearby or on our way back home to stay. They were helpful and accommodating and booked the remainder of our week in Virginia. We traveled all day and finally arrived around 10:00 pm, only to find the campground was closed and not just closed for the evening, no they hadn’t even opened for the season yet. Needless to say once we learned this information, we were a bit annoyed. Thankfully we ran into a worker who was there working to get the place ready for the season and she told us. The next morning we spoke with someone from the campground in Virginia and she escalated our situation to her supervisor, who reached out to the supervisor who had booked us in there. She called and apologized and we were able to salvage our trip by driving much further from home to Tennessee. I was so pleasantly surprised with this quaint, beautiful place. The lake off the back of our cabin was so peaceful and serene. The first morning I walked out on the porch and saw a baby bald eagle diving into the water trying to catch breakfast, it was a breathtaking experience. The cabin was spacious and bright, but the view had to be the best part. We definitely plan on returning to Natchez Trail.

Stayed here while visiting Nashville. Nice quiet location, and part of the park sits on a nice lake. Sady, our trailer got stuck making a sharp turn and the campground staff helped us get it unstuck. We are forever grateful to them for that assistance. We'll be back.

We have stayed here for years. It’s become our favorite place to vacation. They upgraded the internet in the area so you no longer lose service. The campground is highly maintained. The cabins tiny homes are very clean and have everything you need. Zero complaints from us. We will continue to visit as long as they’re open, which I hope is forever!

This is a fantastic, family friendly, rv park. As a Thousand Trails affiliate, the standards of the park are sound. My only reservation is that there are a large number of "annual" guests that reserve their spots whether they are present or not. Because of this, weekend campers have to search for open spots that are not reserved. This just complicates the stay a bit.

Absolutely loved this Thousand Trails RV campground.. The campground has a lot of amenities and activities to offer onsite. It’s located along the Natchez Trace Parkway which has a multitude of historic attractions and outdoor activities.
FYI: there is no good signal in the park or the area in general. (T-Mobile has been the best that we have found while asking other folks in the area) There however is free WI-fi in the lodge.

We visited someone camping. The whole area was immaculate, very well kept. Not sure on prices. They have campsites, cottages for rent, fishing lake on site. I plan on spending a weekend here this summer.

I’m glad we downloaded Hammer app ( it’s a truck gps) so we avoided the low bridge! the staff is very nice! We paid for internet but most campgrounds in the middle of nature you got to pay for internet, anyway. The pool is very nice and it’s a huge campground!

We stayed here in August 2020. The campground is a reserve which makes it very natural and treed with wilderness nearby. Our site backed up to the wilds and at night we heard the songs of crickets. The lake is full of wildlife. The folks that work here are very polite and accommodating. Overall we loved it!

Another great ThousandTrails campground. Loved it. We were right in front of the lake. We enjoyed the view the wildlife, especially the geese and snapping turtles. The beach was clean sand and the activities were fun and noisy! Be careful on natchez trace hwy. There is a low bridge! Go the other way! Fyi

This is one of our favorite places to go in the summer and has been for years. It isnt overly fancy, but perfect for R & R. Though my kids are older now and go on their own.. I have always felt safe down with my kids camping out. Everyone is always friendly. The Saturday dinners are yummy, the breakfast and ice cream at the store are good. I love midweek the best as it is not as busy.

We just went here for the July the 4th weekend. We had such a great time. Nice beach area and big pool to swim. I would recommend bringing some silverware ,cutting knife and grilling utensils because they didn’t have them in the cabin. If your looking to just relax you’ve found the perfect place!

We stayed in a cabin there for about 3 months. I was not expecting to be there more the 4 or 5 weeks. I was glad to finally leave but it was a very comfortable place for us and our 2 dogs.
We were always comfortable and had the comforts of home except TV internet signal. Being away from it all was a blessing in disguise so that’s why I miss it. I will go back again and soon. It is better than I can describe but you will see what I mean. Thanks

I love it here. It is a quiet park surrounded by woods and on a lake. We use it as our annual site. You can't beat the rates if you are a member. The park is very clean and well managed. Would highly recommend a visit or stay!
