Chilhowee Gliderport

Can’t say enough about Sarah and Jason! They were amazing pilots. Visited #ChilhoweeGliderPort today with my Father, Husband and two daughters and we all had an amazing time. Got a few videos and in one of them, you can see the next glider taking off below us. Such a beautiful experience and highly recommended!

What a ride! Jasen was entertaining and made the ride one to remember. It was well worth the price of admission. Gliding through the air is a peaceful way to see the beauty of the mountains and rivers that we’re so blessed to live in. What a great time on my birthday. I can’t wait to do it again. I’ll add more pics later.

First time flying a A glider. It was so much fun! If New or first time flyer, totally Would recommend. Jason and Shara were exceptional, providing introduction and knowledge about soaring made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Visiting for my 32nd birthday and my parents surprised me with a flight. Jason was very knowledgeable and an excellent pilot! I enjoyed the sights of the mountains! I highly recommend doing a flight with Jason! We definitely had a blast!

We just had an unforgettable experience. Especially for a guy who’s pretty squeamish with heights. My Dad and I got rides but it was fun for our girls to all experience from the ground too. Jason, our pilot was super nice, friendly and a great pilot! This is a must do!

Oh man, where do I start? The Arnold's are amazing people. Sarah is a world renowned glider pilot and Jason ain't bad either. Their attention to safety and detail is like one I've never experienced. I went with my wife in the fall and the colors were unreal. Both before and after our glider ride Jason directed us to places in the area to check out and then he also took us on the river. Little known fact about Jason is that he is a world renown white water kayaker. Thanks again Sarah and Jason!

I had a Great! time. Soaring in an unpowered glider isn't for everyone, true, but if you're the littlest bit curious, you had better fly here. Take the 30 minute ride and look down at the eagles riding the thermals like I did. Sweet! Thanks Jason

I live right across from these guys and they were super nice and experienced. Only flew about half the time because of weather but still an amazing trip. Highly recommend them and probably go back again later.

Amazing day! Sarah and Jason were welcoming and friendly. This is a perfect way to see the beautiful scenery including mountains, lakes and fall colors. We are hooked and we are planning to take lessons here. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible first time in a glider thanks to Jason and Sarah. Highly recommended if you’ve ever had the itch to go up and float around.

Outstanding service with an outstanding ride. The fall colors were almost in full bloom. I will be doing this again soon!

Took my hubby Ken for a glider ride yesterday as a birthday adventure and he just lived it. Jason was the greatest, made Ken feel very comfortable with his knowledge of flying and a few of conversations about life experiences. Great time and would suggest it to anyone.

It's an awesome experience!! Sara & Jason made it very enjoyable. I wasn't sure about getting in & out of the glider, they were patient & helped make the ride happen!! This needs to be on everyones bucket list!! Thanks again!!

Took my husband Erick up to ride the glider for his 60th birthday. He wanted to do something special and memorable. Jason was his pilot and he made the experience more then we could have ever expected. Erick had a great time and can't quit talking about it
He has been telling family and friends how great it was and how they should all plan to do this. We will definitely be back . The ride was great. Jason and Sarah were the greatest. Thank you for making his 60th birthday something he will always remember.

The people at Chilhowee Gliderport do an awesome job at making you feel very comfortable about your glider experience and meeting the expectations of the flight and the price is not bad for a bucket list check the box or to see if you would like to take up gliding !

My wife got me a lesson for Christmas. I hope my wife knows what she just started... I am hooked and can't wait to come back for more lessons.

Sarah is an awesome pilot and instructor. All of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to learning to fly again.
