I was thrilled. Looked like a fast food place from the exterior, but I was pleasantly surprised once I went inside. Great chips, salsa, and bean dip to start. My abuelitas plate was awesome. I'll be back next time I'm driving through the area.

Blue Zones a go go Muy Sabrosa with a few really tasty vegan options, lots of vegetarian and lots for the whole gang of omnivores. Nextdoor to a very cool & scenic Super 8 by Wyndham that has super cinematic photo ops. Advice - order custom vegan platter has nepolitos (cactus) Mexican rice & guacamole and salad & meats of choice a la carte & enjoy the variety of tortillas & sauces they serve / bean dip along with warm & cold mildly spicy salsa & chips complimentary. The drinks are really tasty and well presented in frosty mugs. Their pinto beans do have ham for flavor. They are open til 11pm on week nights!🥇Try this at the Googleplex!

This place was right next to the freeway, next to Super 8 Motel. I wanted to have a Mexican breakfast so this was the stop. From first sight, things looked good, lots of customers! Hispanic ones for that much (can be a good sign the Mexican food I'd good!) I ordered huevos machacados which is scrambled eggs with dry aged beef. It came with papa's and tortillas. The food came out quickly, and hot. The service was grade A. Same with the food! I highly recommend. My partner kept it gringo and ordered an omelet, which she really enjoyed. Strongly recommend. Oh, and thr girl that is a manager or owner, is awesome. She went around checking on tables and doing whatever she could to make people have a good experience. 👍 awesome

I needed to make a review for this place after seeing someone giving a one-star review for them being closed. There was a tornado that literally went through this restaurant last week. OF COURSE THEY WERE CLOSED.

In the brief time before the tornado hit, we were quickly served chips with salsa and beans. I have not been to a Mexican place before that brought beans with chips and really enjoyed that.

The staff were great during a terrifying experience and helped keep everyone safe. Thank you everyone there for protecting us. We hope you are able to open soon!

This is my 4th time here and the food is on point, customer service is awesome!! I’ll be again and again and again!!

Walked so welcoming you seat yourself I like that. The waitress was very friendly and took our order and it came out in less then 10 min. What a surprise the food was fresh and the menudo could of been hotter . But my buddy still and ate beans and potatoes and bacon for tortillas were fresh and hot. It’s a must try . And the price was reasonable and I have to say the prices are very reasonable .

Excellent little spot on a road trip after a long day. Greeted very quickly and in a friendly manner as well. The service was excellent got our drinks immediately and was served chips and salsa promptly as well the salsas were 2 red salsas and a very nice bean dip. I ordered the birria quesadillas which were excellent, I only personally regret not ordering some consumme on the side for dipping but everything that came with it was perfect excellent guacamole and pico with some sour cream. Delicious birria flavor on perfectly toasted tortillas. Overall highly recommend.

Temple's best spot to enjoy a good food experience and environment. I recommend this place ,staff is friendly and attentive.

You HAVE to stop and eat here if you are anywhere near Temple. Some of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had in Texas. Everything was delicious! Tacos were piled high with meat, their salsas were amazing and the micheladas were on point! Ate there every night for a week. You will not be disappointed! Very friendly staff as well!

I was initially unsure of this restaurant by the way it looks on the outside but it was very nice inside and the food was good. They give you beans with your chips and salsa which was nice. Also one of the salsa was warm which I have never had before. The food was good. We were staying at the motel next door and my spouse went back for breakfast the next day and he said it was the best breakfast he’s had at a restaurant.

Shrimp ceviche was so good, fresh guacamole & salsas were excellent. The other plate of beef enchiladas was a huge platter and excellent! Abundant staff and great service.

We have been coming to this restaurant for over15 years, and that is because the have the BEST Fajitas in the World! We have the craving of eating them and we get in the van and travel from Austin to Temple, Texas just to eat them.
We went again last night, and the flavor was incredible! The servings are generous, and the price is totally affordable. The staff welcomes you with a smile, and with kindness.
Truly excellent, and humble place!

Our waitress Barbara was very nice and attentive. Food was great, everything was perfectly seasoned. They even had parking for our semi!! Will definitely visit again.

Not much to say. I'm typing this before I'm finished eating because it's that darn good. The Posole has a broth that is not traditional here in Texas. Reminds me a lot of New Mwxico. Highly highly recommend.

This place is over the top good, the soups are amazing, big selection of meats to choose from all done perfectly. Wow!

After trying several places in and around Temple looking for good beef fajitas, we tried this place...They DID NOT disappoint! The beef was tender, well seasoned and plentful. Sides were good and service was great!
We will definitely be back!

This place was great!! The food was amazing! You have to try the pineapple fajitas. Our waitress Jessica was awesome that girl most definitely deserves a raise!!!!!
