Outstanding Service. This review is based on initial new patient visit of two senior dogs, both with a variety of issues, to Vet Care Anywhere Animal Hospital. I wanted to transfer from another animal hospital, where I was being "up-serviced and up-charged" at every opportunity. Dr. Marlon is a sole practitioner, assisted by a number of vet interns, whom he is mentoring. His office isn't in the "high rent district", nor is it fancy on the inside, but he has up-to-date, on-site lab equipment, which shows me that he knows where to properly put his investment. He is a fantastic Vet., intelligent, dedicated, compassionate and practical. I could tell that Dr. Marlon absolutely loves his work by how he addressed all my numerous concerns in detail with both dogs, answered all my questions, identified priorities in treatments. I wasn't charged astronomically although Dr Marlon spent a good deal of time with both dogs and performed several on-site treatments. I feel
Dr Marlon is trust-worthy, and he is now my primary veterinary doctor. My only quibble is that it is very noisy at this veterinary practice due to the constant barking next door at the dog-daycare facility.

Dr. Marlon has been our vet for a few years now. I love the convenience of having him come to the house and so do the dogs. We have two rescues and one is very touchy so it helps immensely to comfort and calm him. Dr. Marlon gave us references for the rescue groups that I adopted from and he was there for us during the lose of our last fur-children. I also really like that he works with NCSU students and treats these visits as teaching experiences. I work at the University and love that we are all part of the Pack!

I spent weeks researching veterinarians when I moved to Raleigh before I decided on Dr. Marlon. I’m very happy with the care my Delilah receives at Veterinary Care Anywhere!

I recently had to bring Delilah in for what I suspected was a UTI, and Dr. Marlon made sure to call me before he did any tests. He explained everything to me thoroughly, and when a staff member brought Delilah back out, she went over everything again.

I used to work in a vet’s office and Delilah had 2 other vets before we moved to Raleigh - Dr. Marlon and his staff are by far the most professional and friendly. I don’t think they’re any more expensive than any other vet out there - vet care is just expensive sometimes. I really appreciate that prices are available on the website.

My cats have been seeing Dr. Marlon for the past five years. He’s gone above and beyond to take care of them. Unfortunately we had to put our 16-year-old down and Dr. Marlon and his staff were empathetic, professional, and very comforting. We appreciate everything they’ve done for our family!

I'll start by saying that this is the best animal hospital in Raleigh. It's definitely the best I've ever been to. I only recently started taking my 16-year old cat to them, as she was struggling with a supposed ear infection that was not seeming to heal with medication I received from other vet hospitals. Dr. Marlon did the most thorough exam on her and found issues I would have never guessed were going on with her! He is very thorough in explaining what is wrong and gives many suggestions of ways you can help in the aid of healing around the home. With x-rays, we found that she had an unknown mass in her abdomen and with everything considered, we decided to humanely put her to sleep. While we did not do this at this facility, Dr. Marlon and staff make you feel very comfortable and give you time and space to discuss decisions. They offer many services such as cremation and paw prints as well.

The prices are very affordable and I never felt like I overpaid for the services I received. Dr. Marlon is very honest and tries to keep things realistic with you as far as what he recommends and what treatments would be best. My only complaint is that I wish I had known about them sooner. I would recommend this place to anyone with a fur baby!

Dr. Marlon and his team have been absolutely wonderful. We’ve worked with a few vets in the area over the years and this is the first place where we have felt comfortable. Our pup has extreme anxiety at the vet and these trips are never fun for us but Dr. Marlon knows how to handle him. While we typically have to muzzle during visits, Dr. Marlon has been able to work with Murphy without one, which is nothing short of amazing. He takes his time with you and nothing feels rushed. He listens, he asks questions, he doesn’t talk over you or try to force something you’re not interested in.
The staff have always been kind, attentive, and compassionate. Their follow up is great and they are the best at getting your fur baby in on short notice. Love this place and highly recommend them.

This has been the best vet I've ever witnessed. From Dr. Marlon to his staff- everyone is amazing and understanding. My baby, Sassafras, had some complications and they fit me in immediately every time I was concerned. 5 visits in a week to be exact. They took amazing care of her and eased my mind in the process. Everyone is super knowledgeable and takes the time to explain and answer questions. I never felt rushed or that it was a burden. I will forever stand by!!

Took my cat, Lorelai, to see Dr. Marlon. He is absolutely determined that the animals that see him are relaxed and stress-free. He plays soothing music and the exam rooms are brightly lit with natural sunlight. Lorelai, who normally hates strange places was much more at-ease than I expected her to be. He was not at all rushed in treating my cat. He walked me through every step of her care to ensure I was knowledgeable in caring for her when I took her home (rather than just handing me a pamphlet and sending me on my way). It was clear he cares about animals. Cannot recommend enough.

How could anyone who loves their furry friends not love Dr. Marlon? Dr. Marlon and his staff are very caring and sensitive to our packs needs, especially our senior boy Willie. It’s not very often that one is able to be in the presence of such a great and knowledgeable veterinarian like Dr. Marlon! We have nothing but complete respect and heartfelt gratitude for what has been so freely given to help keep our pups healthy, our pit crew Thanks you too! 🐾🐾🐾

I have used Dr. Marlon for over 2 years now. He simply is the best! I cannot say enough good things about his practice. I adopted a senior dog who was 11, and found Dr. Marlon through neighbor reviews. He comes to my home to treat both my dog and cat. He is thorough, knowledgeable, patient, answers all of my questions, very responsive when I contact him, but most importantly, is kind and compassionate with my "babies". I would highly recommend him and can't say enough good things. Also, he is very reasonably priced both in visits and in prescriptions. You can't go wrong with him!

We took our 16 year old black lab to Vet Care Anywhere Animal Hospital concerning arthritis and dental issues. We had taken our lab to several vets in the past and we found his level of care to be outstanding. He adjusted her medications and our dog is doing much better. He was very thorough and took the time to educate us on his new treatment recommendations. I would highly recommend Dr. Marlon and will continue to use him for all our veterinary needs.

In the early days of COVID lockdowns we noticed something on our dog's eyelid that was bothering her. We have never, ever, made her go through something difficult like a vet visit without us there to keep her reassured, and we called a huge number of vets trying to find anyone who would work with us to find a way to maintain human safety while doing anything other than demand we drop her off to be taken back alone to an unfamiliar room for an unknown time. It seemed like in such a difficult time, everyone became more rigid instead of more flexible--seeing her outside, even looking at a picture--no one would budge, or even really listen to our request. Then we found Dr. Marlon.

His practice had already thought deeply about keeping people safe while reassuring dogs and owners. First, he was willing to provide a detailed, considerate and personal correspondence about the issue by email before the appointment. Then, we found the system they set up for visits: our dog was taken to a room with full-length window where she was able to see us constantly and be within inches throughout the visit, while Dr. Marlon stayed on the phone for his whole examination, explaining everything he did in real time exactly as if we had been there in the room. Our dog was treated quickly, kindly, and with tremendous care for her and us. This experience embodied what we have since learned is true of the whole practice.

The rest is history, and he has been our primary vet ever since. It is so clear that he just wholeheartedly cares for all animals and owners, even ones like us who are not his long term patients. I honestly don't know how he manages to see so many patients and still give everyone the same earnest attention - it's amazing to see and it's also every pet owner's dream! In the two years now that we've been patients, our dog has developed some tough old-age issues that Dr. Marlon thankfully diagnosed in time, including diabetes and Cushing's disease. He has been there for us through it all, including urgent calls and visits when she has a bad turn, and to help turn specialist consultations into a plan that sees her as a "whole patient." She is still enjoying her life with us, and we know much of this is thanks to his help.

I would be remiss if I did not also compliment his staff for being an essential part of the same dynamic. There is a strong sense of compassion and competence among every member of the crew that makes everything work so harmoniously!  I could go on and on but for the sake of time, I will just say that I cannot recommend them more highly!

I interned for Dr.Marlon for about a year and became a veterinary assistant during the process! He is a great mentor and veterinarian and I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about vet med from him. He is very knowledgeable about pets and tries to give the best care possible. I will continue to bring my cat to him while I’m still in the area. If you are a pre-vet student looking for some great experience before applying to vet school then working for Veterinary Care Anywhere is the place to be!

Dr. Marlon had cared for my dog a few years back when he had his mobile practice. She was sixteen and showing signs of stress. Dr Marlon had given her an in home examination and felt something hard in which he stated was most likely a tumor. He was exactly right and my dog did well for a few years until the cancer overtook her body. I moved out of the state for a few years and recently moved back with along with my senior cat. He was drinking excessive amounts of water, lost weight and wasn't eating much so, I took him to see Dr. Marlon and he was so thorough with his examination. He diagnosed him with Kidney disease and again, after researching his blood work that Dr. Marlon gave me, that was exactly the correct diagnosis. Dr. Marlon put him on special food and medication and after a some time, he is back to eating, playing and not drinking excessively. I know he still has the disease and don't know how long he has left but, however long, his care from Dr. Marlon has made his final time better just like my dog.

Dr. Marlon was patient with my timid fur baby. He explained very thoroughly what was going on with my dog and presented healthy and cost effective options. The vet techs were all very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient not only with our fur baby, but with my endless questions.

Dr Marlon is very knowledgeable and thorough. It's clear he is passionate about what he does an educating owners on what's in the best interest of their pet. He did excellent with our dog who typically is very anxious when we bring him to a vet clinic. Being able to have our dog stay at home and Dr Marlons calm disposition definitely eased our dog in what would have normally been stressful for him. I would highly recommend using Dr Marlon he's the best vet we've found in Raleigh!

Dr. Marlon provides outstanding and easily-accessible veterinary services. We are new puppy parents and when our little fella was having health issues this past weekend, Dr. Marlon made himself available to answer all questions, call-in prescriptions if necessary, and inform us re what to monitor over the next few days. We work in medicine and appreciate Dr. Marlon's evidence-based approach to veterinary care. When making recommendations about puppy care, Dr. Marlon is able to provide well-researched explanations to support his reasoning, which we find enormously comforting as we want the best care for our pup!! We cannot recommend Dr. Marlon enough. He is kind, compassionate, clearly loves animals, and he obviously does his research. He has the resume to suggest he would be a great vet (graduated from Cornell vet school, #2 in the country...I looked it up!) and he does not disappoint. Dr. Marlon definitely exceeded the (very high) expectations we set forth when considering veterinary services for our beloved puppy (who is all better after our weekend scare, thanks to Dr. Marlon!).

Dr. Marlon is a very compassionate understanding and CARING Honest person. I did not have all the money to pay for my dogs care and he was in need for care it couldn't wait. Dr. Marlon made sure to put my dogs health and care FIRST and he worked with me to make payments. My dog healed very well and is doing amazing. He is a kind hearted man and has so much integrity and understanding. Animals come first under his care no matter what. Thank you Dr. Marlon for your help for my dog and myself. The staff was really great with my dog. Dr. Marlon is wonderful! She was nervous, but they kept her calm during her exam. They took the time to explain everything. I am vey greatful for their service!! Highly recommend!

I am really grateful to have found Veterinary Care Anywhere. Dr. Marlon is now taking care of my Havanese (13 yrs), my rescue Chihuahua (2 yrs), and my two cats (10 yrs and 2 yrs). Dr. Marlon is, by far, the best veterinarian my pets have had over the years. He is extremely knowledgeable, committed, passionate, kind, honest, and very professional. My older dog has been having some issues lately so I needed to consult him quite often and he has been very prompt in returning my calls and very effective in treating all her health issues. He really does care about each of my pets and their well-being. Having Dr. Marlon come to my house to visit my pets make the visits so much nicer and convenient.
