Harris Lake Parking

Parking lot. Mostly asphalt. Marked spaces for parking automobiles and what not. Access the playground, canoe/kayak launch, Peninsula Trail, cypress trail, picnic areas and shelters from this glorious parking lot. Spaces are striped around curves making it fun to park in triangles! Restrooms are hiding behind the playground. Vending machines located at the restrooms in case you get hungry after searching the lands. Use the other parking lots for Mountain bike trail access or to play the sweet disc golf course located in the park. The Peninsula trial is an easy flat 5 mile hiking loop with nice views of the nuclear plant cooling tower. The cypress trail is over before it begins.

Loaded in today to kayak. It's a quick walk to the kayak launching area. The launching area is a little small and a bit smushy lakey but definitely does the trick. Skirted around the edges of the lake and the wakes from the power boats weren't too bad at all. We've hiked the trails here a few times. The front end of the trail from the parking area is relatively easy. As you get to the back half it gets a little bit more elevated. Great hike and kayaking. There's also a history trail where you can scan QR codes at different displays. Well maintained park!

Great place for hiking, mountain biking and frisbee golf. The peninsula trail is perfect for a 2ish hour 5 mile hike and is hardly ever crowded. This trail is doable after rain with a few hops over standing water. The mountain biking trails on the other hand are often closed several days after rain. They have playgrounds and picnic shelters as well.

Fun park for the entire family. Plenty of space for varying activities: hiking, single-track, disc golf, playground, playground, boat launch and open fields. Relatively secluded and quiet yet close enough to be easily accesible off of US-1 (New Hill exit)

Kids play ground right besides parking lot. Clean restroom besides playground with Lakeview. Good place for fishing and boating. Plenty of picnic tables with grill, two large shelters for reservations. Hiking trails right besides parking lot.

This is a great park to visit! They have all sorts of activities available here including mountain biking, hiking, canoeing as well as a field and park for kids.

We able to take a hike and seen the whole entire lake very nice. My wife and I are from Cincinnati Ohio we came down to see our business partner.

Excellent, love the outdoors, plenty of parking, great place to launch your kayaks, pet friendly. Great place to just relax.

Love this ramp. Clean and safe. Wish others would learn how to back a trailer into the slip. Should have a trainer ramp.

Ok, it is the parking lot for Harris Lake County Park. Google wanted a rating, so it is a very nice parking lot...yellow lines and all.
