Napper Tandy's Public House and Restaurant

We made a spontaneous decision to go here on St. Patrick's Day knowing good and well it would be packed and chaotic and we'd probably have to wait a good while for food and drinks. The hostesses were so unbelievably organized and kept the seating list flowing quickly and smoothly....very friendly too. We didn't wait nearly as long as expected! Our server was friendly and efficient. Our food was AWESOME!!!!! We shared the Irish Poutine (SOOOO GOOD!) and I got the Reuben (LOTS OF MEAT AND AMAZING!) My husband enjoyed his fish and chips. We loved our experience here in every way. We will definitely be back.

We had a group of 6 for a late lunch on Sunday. There wasn't a wait to be seated, and they turned on the football game for us, which was appreciated! The food was great and the staff were friendly. I had the blt wrap, which was really tasty, and got a rather large side salad with it for $13. We also tried the cider and really enjoyed it! They also have weekly events... music, brunch on Sunday, etc...

All around such a nice place and the service was amazing, such nice hard workers. The wings were delicious, both mild and honey bbq was so good! Highly recommend! Also got a basket of fries with cheese and bacon. Delicious! Tried the Irish red ale an it didn’t disappoint, very special flavors that was enjoyable. Plenty of parking across the street .

Went there for dinner 01.20.2024, had Bavarian Pretzel (YUM), Friend Green Tomatoes, also (YUM) and Sean's Spicy Wrap with chicken also very good! THE LIVE MUSIC was incredible!! We really enjoyed hearing THE TAN AND SOBER GENTLEMEN play after our meal! A fun evening with good food and great live music!

Amazing. Their food is top-notch. We ate dinner there tonight. It was packed, but we were in and out in less than an hour. The waiter was attentive and nice. The pretzel was warm, soft, and salty. The steak tips were tender and flavorful. Their Irish stew was packed full of flavor. We will definitely be back and be regulars.

Wonderful place where I got to offer training sponsored by the small business center in the chamber in one of their small meeting rooms that just work perfectly. See the picture for the room.

Great place with a “local hang out” vibe. The wait staff are great, the food is good, and one of the owners -Michael- is fantastic and welcoming.

Lots of “regulars” came in and the staff knew their names and welcomed them in loudly and happily haha!

Came in on all-you-can-eat snow crab legs and it was very busy but still quick!

100% will be back and recommend this place!

My husband and I finally decided to try the place as we live nearby. Boy, we have been missing out since they opened over a year ago! I can't say enough about everything. The service was amazing and the food was the best I have had in a long time. I love a good medium burger but when I ask for it most restaurants don't know what a truly medium burger looks like. They always and I mean always over cook it. Not this time! It was so perfectly medium that I just wanted to come back every day and order that burger! A huge shout out to the cook staff. Even the fries and the onion rings were perfect. My husbands burger was also perfect he said and he hopes to return very soon to try the fish and chips. You will be seeing a lot more of us. I can tell you that. I made a new category in our budget called Napper Tandy. Haha!

My wife and I had a great time, and it's definitely a great hangout. This place felt like our kind of place and being new in the area. We met bartender Morgan, who showed genuine customer service, drinks, and great food ! Thank you for having us feel welcomed. Can't wait for the weekend vibes.

Visited this location for the first time the other day. A great find in Angier - it was amazing to find a place like this so close to home. We ordered the pretzel, which was excellent. My husband order the fish and chips and he loved it. I order a BYO Beyond Burger and it was one of the best Beyond Burgers I have ever ordered. Drinks were also very good. Our waitress was the absolute sweetest! Overall excellent vibe and we are looking forward to our next visit.

What a great place! Love the food, and the wait staff is always great, too. I wish I could recognize all that I have had the pleasure of meeting.
Good food, clean, and a good selection of beer. The bartenders make a good old fashioned as well. I just wish they used craft ice in cocktails like an old fashioned.
I have never been disappointed when eating here.
The seafood pasta is my favorite dish.

Finally tried out Napper Tandy’s the other week and have since been back 2 more times. Each meal has been great and the service has been top notch each time. Such a great atmosphere with plenty of entertainment each night. Highly recommended

My wife and I had plans to go elsewhere but they were way way too busy so we looked up what was nearby and ended up at Napper Tandys. Let me tell ya, I'm happy we did.

Think home town sports bar with regular tables too and a great menu. There's something for everyone on the menu, including the kiddos if you bring them. We were without kids at the time but I'd have no problems bringing them next time.

I went with the pork chop with Guinness BBQ sauce and it was awesome. Didn't quite lick the plate clean but only because people were watching. The garlic fries appetizer was a huge hit as well. Only issue with it was I absolutely love their whiskey menu and garlic and whiskey don't mix so.... Plan accordingly! (Seriously the only place with a better Irish whiskey selection is my house and that's saying something... Everything from Redbreast to Midleton and even some of the higher year statements.) I saw some great bourbon on the other side of the bar as well but didn't look any closer.

Oh... Save room for the Guinness cake. Wow.

Service was great and we both decided this is a new favorite local place.

We love Napper Tandys. Our waitress Christina was amazing tonight and interacted with our kids and actually had conversations each time she checked on us! We love trivia too and recently discovered they do it every Monday and it was fun! We will be back for trivia!

The food was amazing. I had the Shepherd’s pie and my wife had the fish and chips. I think it was the owner or manager that checked on us and told us the fish had just been flown in this morning. I have already requested that we go back for my birthday celebration. A fantastic feel at home restaurant where everyone is welcome.. I cannot wait to go back! I will be dreaming of the shepherds pie tonight just simply amazing. Thank God for wonderful food.

Just opened, but great food, and an amazing atmosphere! Right now they have a limited menu, but eventually it will be 7 pages from what our waitress told us. The bar is huge with plenty of seating. There are garage doors that will be open in the warmer weather! Pretty excited to have a nice restaurant/bar so close to home!

Took my wife out to dinner in Angier for her birthday at Napper Tandy's, since it was before St. Patrick's day! They had everything you'd expect from an Irish restaurant and bar! Plus, room for cycles out front! The food! Was awesome! I had the phily steak and cheese, Outa this world. My wife had the fish n chips! The cod was as big as the plate! So good! Their Ruben tops the list. An awesome NY reben!! Another favorite was the corn beef and cabbage, and they don't hold back on a nice slab of it!
All the service and bartenders are great!!

Home run, lunch on Sunday, fish n chips w. Slaw just light n flakey the way I love it. Kids enjoyed the meeting pretzels. Burger n fries were yum as well.. service was great.

First visit! Staff was pleasant, very helpful with accommodating my food preferences. I would come back for an evening of dining. They have live music on the weekends & big roll-up doors for bringing the outside in on nice weather days. We look forward to bellying up & a pint.

Dinner at our new local Napper Tandy's tonight. Beautiful new pub and location for a good Guinness. While the look is Irish, the vibe (and music) is definitely more "Lynyrd Skynyrd" than Chieftains, but I can't hold that against anybody, since we're in the Carolinas. (You can order a Bud Light - but not sure why anyone would ever want to. )

Speaking of the Carolinas, I've lived here since the mid-90's, and while Napper Tandy's calls their fish and chips "Dublin-style" - and they are - they're also a classic Syracuse fish fry and the best haddock that I've had in years and years. Would be five stars for the fish alone.
