From the first day we brought Luna home until the day we said good bye, Dr Jon and his staff took great care of our sweet girl over the last 17 years. They are kind, compassionate and love your babies like their own. The wait times are long at times but the quality of care they offer makes it worth it. They have recently re-done the interior and the updates look great.

We cannot express the depth of our gratitude as Dr. Jon, JD, and their amazing staff got our 3 pets through challenging diagnosis and subsequent surgeries. From the very start we have nothing but high praise for this wonderful group of individuals. Thank you so much! The Webster's

Dr John is the best! He is only vet there now at his practice and cannot take new clients. So those that were already customers, their pets have the best care. Dr John is a wonderful human being and a fabulous veterinarian. So glad I started going here decades ago. Best vet in Raleigh in my opinion.

My husband and I had to say goodbye to our 11 year old Yorkie, Emmy, on 2/29/24. Dr. Jon, as always, was amazing. He wasn't rushed, and he answered our questions. I also want to mention Lindsey. She is so sweet. Such a caring person, as is Dr. Jon. It's so hard to lose a family member. If only they could go in their sleep. If only....

We love you Emmy, think of you, and miss you every day.

Love Magnolia. Been coming here for years and Dr Jon always gives us his full attention, gets on the floor with our dogs and gives our cats love on the exam table. His staff is welcoming and helpful. When we walk through the dood our pets are greeted with a chorus of Hi Pender or whoever is coming for a checkup.

Dr. Jon is truly the best. We’ve seen him for years with both of our dogs, and he has helped us with some really challenging issues with one of them. You can tell he loves every animal he sees and his staff works really hard to give high quality care at really reasonable prices. We recommend Dr. Jon to anyone!

This place is great! My puppy had to have surgery and magnolia offered me the best quite by far. They did an exceptional job. I was so impressed with services and the staffs professionalism that I dropped my Petsmart Banfield vet membership and started going here. Ive been a member here nearly 2 years now and every visit is always pleasant.

Love this Vet Hospital! They provide a more old-fashioned, personalized approach to the care for your fur baby. For most appointments you get to stay with your pet throughout the time while there.

I have been with Dr. Jon ever since he opened office here in the Triangle. I can say that he has had four of my Shelties and one of my rescue.He has come out to the house and put one of my babies down because Mater was just too big and I wanted him to be in his own environment.Dr. Jon was so cooperative and very compassinate. It is hard enough, but he made it a bit easier if there is such a word when you have to put your baby down for the "Big C."There
There was also a time when he agreed to keep my dogs because we were going through some tough times with flooding in our home and Dr.Jon was in agreement to keep the dogs as long as we needed. You don't forget that!!!!!!!!!

We just lost our 11 year old Pitty pup and these folks walked us through the entire process. They have been our vet for years and seen her all the way til the end. Would recommend 100%.

We came here last year when our Doberman had a really bad ear infection. He wasn't a patient of theirs, we had been going to Knightdale Animal Hospital for 2 years but when I called to get him an appointment they said they couldn't do a walk in or had any appointments until the following week. It was sad and disappointing knowing he was in pain that they couldn't fit him in. After calling several places, none of which could see him, I reached out to Magnolia. They were able to get him in the next morning! We never went back to Knightdale Animal Hospital, no business that you are a patient of should tell you it will be at least a week before they can see you. I understand not accepting new patients but not existing patients. Magnolia isn't as fancy as some of the other vet offices, and they are always busy but I would 100% recommend them. Last time I was there they were still enforcing the mask mandate, it irritates me slightly, but the fact that they take care of our dog always and fits him in no matter what, supercedes any frustration of having to wear the mask.

We’ve been coming here for years! I started coming here when I lived in Raleigh over a decade ago. Since then I’ve moved about an hour away but we still frequent Magnolia because they’re just THAT good. They’re friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Their prices are extremely competitive compared to other vets in the area.

I've been bringing my Mickie Bonez here since she was an 8 week old puppy and our Minnie since 2020. I have no complaints about their service. They have always treated our pets right and the staff are always patient with the pets. Even after I moved I still kept bringing my doggies here. I'd highly recommend them!

I love this place. veterinarians have a lot of patience with the pets they are very good with the handling of your babies. They Or very understanding with the pet parents, and they explain everything they are going to do with your baby to help them.

Everybody there was very nice and April was very relaxed and this was her first visit to any animal hospital in North Carolina. I'm just very glad that if she got sick it was over here because the price was very reasonable if she got really sick California you can bet that the price would be twice as much. I take my dog Haxen here and can't recommend them highly enough. Dr John and all of the staff that I met truly went above and beyond to make sure that my dog was receiving the best possible care. Prices are below average but they really give 5 star treatment and it feels like they care about you. I hope to be using them for years to come.

Been taking mine and my parent's pets to Dr. John at Magnolia for decades. Always very personable and excellent service, very fair expense.

Dr. Jon is an amazing vet, very patient, kind, and helpful. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to answer your questions.

(Edited, My last pet passed away this past October 5th.) Dr. Jon has treated my pets since around 1999. He genuinely loves animals. I met him by a yellow page search when I had an emergency with my hamster, and he did not treat him like a $6 animal. Since then, he has treated my dog, who lived until 2013 and my cat, who is now 18. This isn't just a business for him. I just remembered, maybe 15 years ago, when I lived in Franklin County, my neighbor's dog was hit and left in a ditch. My neighbor hadn't done anything about it from the time I left for work! When I came home from work, another neighbor and I took the dog to Dr. Jon, and the doctor diagnosed him with a broken back. He kindly euthanized my neighbor's dog at no charge. I'll never forget that. Ever. Another time I was on my way home from work and a dog had been hit in the highway and left for dead, but he was still alive. I put the dog in my car and let the doc know I was coming. He treated his injuries and allowed the dog to stay until his owners came (I posted Lost and Found signs). I live in Norfolk, VA now, and would drive all the way to Raleigh for vet care from him if I had to.

Took my pup here to see Dr. Vargas for a teeth cleaning and extraction of an infected tooth. Very compassionate and professional folks. They took great care of my boy and I really appreciated the follow up call afterwards to ensure he was recovering well. Thank you!
