Uncommon Care

Just wanted to give a shout out to Uncommon Care! They are the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Besides addressing my health issue, they were kind, they listened and made me feel at home! This is how doctor visits should be. Also, I’m not related to anyone there.

Love this place! Not only did they work with me and my situation but i also received a heartfelt prayer in the mail by them! They know who our true healer is! How incredible! So blessed to live near them!

Very professional and kind staff. Wait time was very short and the doctor was thorough and attentive. Would definitely recommend to others for urgent medical care.

I have been here twice. Once for my daughter and once for me. I love it. It feels more like an old school doctors office and less like those big corporate ones that are all connected to each other.
We have seen a male doctor and a female NP. Both spent time asking questions and speaking to us. I did not feel rushed. Both times I felt they were actually listening to what I was saying. Sadly I rarely feel that way at most doctors offices.
My insurance is terrible and the lady at the front has been helpful at finding out what my costs would be as self pay vs insurance. I truly appreciate that.

I can't speak on the past employees - but the ones who were working there as of November 5th, 2022 were pleasant and the front desk lady was superb! She was very courteous and mannerly.

As far as the more recent 1/2 star reviews and those mentioning face-diapers, get real. First, those dirty contraptions do absolutely NOTHING and second, it just shows you're not that bright to begin with.

Now, back to my review. The facility was clean, not spotless. It looked a little dated however, it's an "urgent care" and that's what you should expect. The equipment was pretty dated too but again, whatever.

For others making remarks on pricing - it's visibly shown and they don't hide it, that payment is due at time of service. Sure, it's a little on the higher end but again - like I've said, it's an URGENT CARE and it is what it is. If you're going to complain - go elsewhere. I'm grateful they're here, I'm grateful they were available, and I'm grateful that they didn't try to enforce nasty, worthless face-diapers, and because of that - should we ever need an Urgent Care again, we'll definitely be back!

Finding Uncommon Care was a blessing to me. I’ve never felt so loved. From Renee at the front desk to Dr. Tripp and Assistant Brandon. This place was/is amazing. These people truly care about their patients. I’ve had so many issues through the years. I’ve seen SO many doctors in my life and I’ve never in my life felt so loved the day I went to Uncommon Care. If you can see Dr. Tripp, please see him. He will treat you like gold and you’ll be blown away because regular doctors want to just shove you in and out. He is not just any regular doctor. He actually cares! I wish every place could be like this. Maybe the medical profession wouldn’t get such a bad name. Thank you to everyone at Uncommon Care. God bless every single one of you.

**This review is for Uncommon Care, Ten-Ten Road**Driving home, I got sick and light headed. Drove up to this urgent care expecting the same as any urgent care I've ever been to. Needless to say, they went above and beyond my expectations. They acted quickly, made sure my husband had been notified, and ensured my two year old who was with me that everything would be okay. All of this while they dealt with not one, but two other walk in emergencies. In all the years I've been going to urgent care's, this one is the best. I plan to go back when needed for sure. Also, when I went to pick up my insurance paperwork, it was ready for me and the nurses recognized me and asked how I was doing. The receptionist had my paperwork ready and was so friendly! So personable and great bedside manner. I can't recommend this location enough! Also, this location is newly renovated, clean and very organized.

So blessed to be back near Uncommon Care. Dr. Tripp is a gem and so compassionate. I was under his care years ago and I have never found a doctor that comes close to him. His bedside manner, kindness and genuine empathy are rare to find. All the other staff have been wonderful to me as well. I'm so grateful for the care I receive from this practice.

Quick, thorough, helpful, and understanding staff members. Visited the clinic twice and one month and received exceptional service both times. When you are sick, the last thing you want is to wait hours and hours in the lobby waiting to be seen. All clinics should be formatted this way with, with no appointments needed. Our family will continue to use Uncommon Care for any and all medical needs.

loveeeee this place, such a quick, quality option for urgent care

My son was seen at the Raleigh/Garner office in May. The staff there was wonderful and we were in and out quickly. Meagan, the provider, was very thorough and engaging with my son and myself in explaining his care. The office was very clean and nice. I would advise others to definitely come here!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tripp and Uncommon Care. I have been seen 4 times in the past few weeks due to different reasons and each time Dr. Tripp has been welcoming. He takes his time with you and is very thorough and will answer as many questions as you want without rushing you out the door. I will be moving later this year and I hate to have to find another provider elsewhere.

Love this place. Best urgent care I have ever seen. There are others closer to my house but I will only go here. Always quick, knowledgeable, and in and out. The staff is wonderful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tripp's for the past year and a half. I came in with pain in my lower back and leg. Rather than rushing me off with a prescription in hand, Dr. Tripp asked me a series of questions, ordered some tests to rule out any additional possibilities, and then got back to me with a diagnosis. I appreciate the fact that he didn't just prescribe something to mask my symptoms. He took his time and got to the root cause of my issues. I can't tell you how much I value that; particularly in a world consumed with greed, and "the bottom line". People can say what they want, but I would rather drive from Cary to Angier to see Dr. Tripp, than risk being misdiagnosed elsewhere.

I think that the Dr. and his staff are doing a wonderful job. They are all extremely personable, and caring. As far as the wait time is concerned, it is done on a first come first serve basis. However, you will definitely be in and out a lot sooner than you would if you went to the Emergency Room.

This is the best urgent care I have ever been to. The doctor and staff were very professional and I was seen right away. The facility is clean and pleasant. I feel like I was properly diagnosed and had x-rays and a breathing treatment on site that facilitated a speedier recovery. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Glenn is a great guy. He is extremely thorough every time my wife and I see him. He is very compassionate and takes as much time as needed with every visit. We never leave with any questions unanswered!

The doctor who assisted me was very professional and very kind. He was the older doctor at this practice. I didn't feel rushed through my checkup even though it was a pre employment physical. Hands down the best experience at an urgent care facility.

I am very pleased with the service I recieved last week.
1. Customer service was excellent from the initial phone call to the end of the visit.
2. The medical staff was highly competent and knowledgeable.
3. I felt safe and was provided with great care and I feel better!

Been going here for years. Everyone I have had contact here with was professional and courteous. Glenn Tripp is an excellent physician and really cares about your well being and will take time with you to answer any questions to make the best diagnosis possible. I dont go anywhere else and I drive from Cary to Angier to go see him. Ty Doc!

What a fantastic and caring team at Uncommon Care in Garner. Our primary care physician retired, so when my husband got sick and I needed to find a doctor quickly, I remembered the old car wash by my office was reconstructed into a medical facility.
I called them early on Tuesday am and was able to take my husband in with little wait. I could not have asked for better care for my husband. Megan the Nurse Practitioner was very knowledgable and her bedside care was perfect. Even Jennifer called us back several time to check on him and snagged an urology appt the same day.
My advice, if you have a medical need, Uncommon Care in Garner is the FIRST place you should call.
