Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I love Dairy Queen. Me and the wife were in Hammond recently so we decided to eat lunch at the Dairy Queen. Excellent idea of hers. The cheese burgers were great, and the Blizzards are top notch as always. They bring me back to a time when I was young. Nostalgic.

I've enjoyed DQ burgers off and on for a few decades and they do not disappoint after all these years. Clean and well kept. Friendly, quick, knowledgeable, customer-oriented, and great table service. I highly value companies whose employees love working there.

Today is my baby's 13th birthday, he wanted a DQ chocolate cake. This wonderful lady helped us find the right cake, offered to write happy birthday on it, and was just so so so sweet! I think since this has been here this is maybe my second or third visit, but honestly I'm going to go out of my way to come here more often. The sheer spectacular hospitality touched my heart today, this place feels like home. Thank you Angelica!

This was a great little DQ, really missed the menu from Texas and especially the jalapenos but it was still great. Tried the flamethrower sauce and it wasn't bad but just plane jalapenos would have been better. The service was also excellent. Overall I don't regret the stop one bit and would highly recommend.

I arrived about 3 PM on a Friday afternoon for a dip cone. I was greeted promptly when I walked in by a couple of employees. I was helped with the special on the app. My order arrived before I left the counter. Better than any experience I have ever had at a DQ. The dip cone was what I expected, but they knocked the service out of the park. It was a pleasure being there.

Manager does not let employees professionally do their jobs and from my experience manager was iattending to another customer. manager has a tendency to disregard his customer in order to be acknowledged by other customers while asking questions to the employee and not letting employees be professional with absolutely no unprofessional questions but looking at the employee looking stressed and bullied is a cause of concern!

Customer service was excellent! I wanted a blizzard with chocolate pieces instead of M&Ms (due to an allergy), even though it wasn't on the menu. I went in fully expecting them to say "sorry we can't do that" and that would've been fine, I could have ordered something else. But one guy, who I assume was the manager, was like "anything is possible" and was totally happy to make it for me! They even made a point to come over and make sure I was happy with it after I'd gotten it- and of course it was delicious. Very glad we stopped here.

I got a chicken sandwich combo. Very crispy and delicious. It had lettuce and tomato and pickles on it. Much better than Chick-fil-A! The server actually brought my sandwich to my table. Great service! I love their Oreo Blizzard dessert. Delicious.

The young people who work in this DQ are some of the nicest kids I've ever run into at fast food or anywhere. They always smile and suggest items to try. I wind up getting things I've never had and its always delicious. It's nice to see young busy people who still make time to ask about your day, all the while working on orders and doing everything. If I were able to work, I'd love to work with these young people who always have a kind greeting for an older person like me. Keep up the good work 5 stars

The Burgers were delicious! My Daddy got the Ranch Dressing burger, it had bacon on it and he enjoyed it. Mom, Daddy & I liked our burgers & would definitely recommend Hammond, Louisiana Dairy Queen..

Who doesn't like Dairy Queen, it's a nice place for a quick bite. The Burgers are good and the prices are great, and of course the reason we all go is the variety of ice cream treats. 😉

The staff here went above and beyond to help make our experience exceptional! Ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter about a week before our visit, it looked amazing was ready and on point! We traveled here after a day of adventures around Louisiana, definitely worth the almost 2 hour travel! Thank you again DQ for helping wrap up our Louisiana adventure and making it awesome!

I LOVE THEIR CHICKEN STRIPS WITH FRIES, DRINK, DIPPING GRAVY and a SUNDAY!! ALL for 7 Bucks.

The chicken tenders with the gravy is delicious. Don’t forget your dilly bar. Service is good.

Me & my grandson went there 4 the 1st time, not knowing what to expect. I was totally surprised. A $5.00 meal consist of a delicious burger, fries, a drink, & an ice cream. We both loved everything. The food was great. The ice cream was a sweat treat.

Great service and quality of milkshakes and food. Ordered the chicken sandwich and oreos milkshake. They are true to their advertisement about serving their milkshake upside down. Happened to receive a free milkshake because we did receive it upside down. The chicken sandwich was pretty good and the price was decent ($4~). Definitely a good place to hang out with friends, plus there is a gazebo you can use.
