My server, I believe her name was Kayla, was PHENOMENAL. She was very nice, made sure my order was correct, and she even put my dessert to go in the freezer until I was ready to leave.
Good was great. The atmosphere was great as well.

Great place to relax after being in the park all day. Our bartender Josh was excellent and we even won at the casino! Highly recommend for cold beverages and great conversation!

It is the only bar in town, great place for drinks and it is open until midnight. There is a wheel you can spin and it has something to do with drink specials. They get slammed in the Summer so be nice to the staff they do their best.

Service and food were excellent. I liked the old western saloon atmosphere. Maddie was really nice and made sure our drinks and water were always full. My table had the ribeye, trout, chicken pot pie, and hamburger. No complaints.

I was alone on a motorcycle trip and stopped in to this local watering hole. The only table was huge and it was the only one left. I mentioned to the staff that if folks want to sit at the table i will make new friends. About five minutes later a couple sits down and after a few minutes i learned their son and i know each other in Washington.
After about an hour or so went by another gentleman walked in with all of his biker gear(it was raining) and we invited him to sit with us. Turns out his woman left him, he got on his bike in Spain and has been traveling the world on his Dyna Glide. Russia, Ukraine, Peru, etc and was on his way to Alaska. Loved my experience at the spot. Thank Rusty Rail staff!

Fantastic meal! Really nice staff, and the over 21 dessert was to die for. We also had our first taste of Big Horn whiskey and that was awesome! This is a very low-key bar/restaurant before the main roads into Yellowstone, and is a perfect spot to relax into the evening in Gardiner Montana.

Great bar with friendly staff. Super happy about finding this place. Awesome place to watch sport games.

I highly recommend the huckleberry mule! I had so much fun here! Room to dance, pool tables, great drinks, juke box, it was incredible! Would go back again and again! The locals are so friendly

Great service, really good food, slot machines while you wait for your dinner, and pool tables. Some of the prices for food were on the slightly high side but not enough to bother me. The waitress was great.

OH MY GOSH!!! We just finished our dinner…ribeye, super fresh potatoes, broccoli and deeeelicious homemade rosemary butter. Then, if it was at all possible, the dessert!! We had huckleberry and fried apple. Have mercy!! Our service was amazing. Leslie was our server, super sweet and very thoughtful. Everything was so awesome that we had to shake the chef’s hand. Chef Matthew is a gifted cook!!

Talk about making a fella feel at home! I arrived with my dog to visit Yellowstone during the winter, not knowing I couldn't take him pretty much anywhere in the park and these people not only served me excellent food and drink with great conversation, but also hooked me up with a seat on a guided tour through the park, and Tama especially went above and beyond. She volunteered to check in on my dog, feed him, walk him and spent a great deal of time with him while I was out at the park. She definitely didn't have to do that, but did it with a smile. Don't pay attention to the poor reviews, these people are awesome and are half the reason I want to come back!

We just had a couple of drinks and some appetizers, but the waitress/bartender was super helpful from the start and the appetizers were great! The best experience we had in Gardiner so far!

Great atmosphere, nice people, and reasonable prices. We ended up here for post-dinner drinks both nights we stayed in Gardiner. Spin the wheel and strike up conversations at the bar!

Great food and great atmosphere. I met some friends here to eat and had a delicious Bison burger. The Rusty Rail is a nice laid-back place to eat with delicious food and great beer.

3 things about the Rusty Rail you need to know:

1) Awesome Bartender, makes a mean drink.
2) The Steak Fry Basket is amazing
3) Unlike everywhere else in Gardiner, the serve food after 8pm, so long as you don't mind it from the fryer
