Merkel Furniture and Carpet One

We recently had carpet installed at our local office. The sales team was great to work with when selecting the carpet. The installers were very professional, did great work and cleaned up. The overall process was great from start to finish! 5 stars!!!

The furniture is so beautiful! I love to look! The service - not to be confused with sales, but real service -- is excellent. Need to take a pillow home to see how it looks with your current decor? No problem. Wondering about other fabrics/colors? No problem? They've got a wonderful bargain area in the basement, too. We purchased flooring for our remodel and got a great deal and still have the rug we bought there over 25 years ago. The quality can't be beat!

We had a great experience purchasing our new mattress at Merkel's recently, from the knowledgeable sales staff who encouraged us to take as much time as we needed to try out all the different models of mattresses to the delivery team that did an excellent job bringing in the new mattress and removing the old mattress and all packaging material. The delivery team noticed some damage in the base and told me that they would let one of the owners know. I received a phone call shortly after from one of the owners to let me know that the base would be replaced. Now that is great service!

Staff at the store was very helpful and professional. The installers were pleasant fellows who did excellent work. Merkel was recommended by a neighbor, and I will be using them again.

If there were a 10, I would give them that and more. Merkel's is the poster child of why more people should "shop local". We had a perceptive responsive sales lady nearly a year ago who helped us find the perfect sofa for our newly designed great room. 10 months later an issue arose and they came out immediately to check on our concern. When it became apparent that the manufacturer was not going to back up their merchandise Merkel's stepped up and stepped in! Thank you Merkels and all your associates! You will see us again...

Merkels put in new carpet in our funeral home lounge, hall, and bathrooms. They had good prices, were prompt and courteous when they measured and planned the project, and then did a great job installing the carpet. Later, I had them come back and patch a different room (we removed a fireplace) and they did a great job fitting in a scrap that I had kept. I highly recommend Merkel Carpet One!

Superb quality and workmanship! We've bought two couches and an entertainment center from Merkel's over the years. The staff is always helpful. Had a pet accident once on some couch cushions. Merkel's went out of their way to help us replace them.

I Love Merkel's they've installed flooring in two of my houses, always on time, nice, considerate & never leave a mess. They are my "go to" for any flooring or furniture. If you're looking for solid furniture that will last, this is the place to buy it.

We bought a leather "Stressless" chair/ottoman from Merkel Furniture that we absolutely LOVE. It's the most comfortable chair we have ever purchased over the years. It just wraps around you. Perfect for watching T.V, reading and definitely perfect for napping!

Merkel had the exact chair I was looking for. They agreed to sell me the floor model so that I could get in within days instead of by Christmas!!! I can't wait to get it in my livingroom!

Great showroom with many well arranged spaces filled with top shelf american and European furniture; 3 floors of fine items. No pressure sales and design staff were heloful- and not be condescending.

A lot of nice furniture here. Prices are kind of high. But some furniture you cant get anywhere else. I checked! We did end up going back and purchasing.
