I've taken my car to Drew and Chris at their shop since they opened in February 2020. I have a 2007 Honda Accord that has 445,000 miles on it. The car is 18 years old. It works fine. They take care of it in an exceptional, careful, thrifty and super wise way; they know everything there is to know about my car, and I bet every car, and they perform an exceptional, amazing job. I cannot recommend them enough. I have never been overcharged by them or have them promise me something that did not work out. To the contrary, on several times, they've told me if inexpensive ways to keep the car going safely and to keep it in operation. I trust them 1000% and I've known them to be great mechanics, great people in the community, and great friends. I have recommended him to my best friend, and he has also been happy. They get new business by word of mouth, because they are reliable, trustworthy, fair, and really good. They don't need to advertise. So please go to them. And also recommended them to other people -- they are the best.

Excellent service and turnaround. They were able to get my subaru in within a week of calling. Dropped it off as soon as they opened and picked it up same day after having all 4 brakes and pads replaced. Would highly recommended!

Today, I came in with a surprise flat tire in the parking lot next door, they came out in the pouring rain, got enough air in it to take it to the garage and had my tire all patched up, in and out in about 20 minutes.

This seems to be the go-to spot. Our first time needing auto work after moving to Chelsea several years ago, and we needed some brake work done on our Subaru. The whole process was very stress-free. Chris and the fellas were all incredibly friendly, they explained things clearly and got the job done in a timely manner; going the extra-mile to make sure everything was in tip-top shape. Don't overthink it: give the boys your business.

This place was awesome and the owner was very helpful. We had a stem leak on my tire. Called down he said drive it down and I will fix it. 10 mins later we were out the door. Amazing service and friendly would recommend them to anyone with a car problem.

Only place I take my car. Service and turnaround are always spot on. Highly recommend.

All I can say is wow!! We are in from Alabama and I noticed this morning my truck was acting up, I came across this shop and these guys were beyond helpful. I pulled up and despite the fact that they had a lot full of cars to work on, they looked at my truck for about 20-30 minutes right on the spot. It was right at lunch time and they were eating but they dropped everything to help me. Thank you to the guys that own this shop. So glad there are some “good ole boys” out here that are willing to help a stranger.

Chris has worked on my car numerous times and is great! Dunning suburu quoted me $2,700 for axil work and rotor replacement. Sidestreet did it for $1200! Can’t recommend these guys enough

Needed brakes. It's hard to stop without them.
Mine were nearing needing a new brake job but when a pad rolled off and left it metal to metal I nursed it to Drew and his Crew.
I had not known Drew other than a preliminary phone call to get a price and ask about availability on his schedule. When I did meet him I found a guy who was quite knowledgeable, very personable, and fair in his pricing.
Since visiting him and having the job done I have talked to more than a few people who also gave opinion that they would not hesitate to go back.
Others who had not heard of Side Street Garage, I hope my satisfaction and comments were enough to urge them to give Side Street a try. They are busy, but what good mechanic isn't?
I felt comfortable enough with his work to drive to Laredo Tx... and since then I've put another five thousand miles on that brake job.
I will be bringing my truck back to Side Street, for sure.

Let me start off by saying how nerve racking having to go to an auto mechanic can be. Well not here. I can't say enough about how great my numerous experiences have been here. Chris and his business partner are unbelievably helpful, trustworthy, honest, and fair. We have had everything from engine swap to brakes, wheel bearings, front end parts, and power steering pumps worked on here and the quality of work has been phenomenal. Everything they have fixed we have had no future problems with. Our family wants to thank you guys from the bottom of our heart for all the help and work you have provided. I would travel across the state to have any work I need done from here. THANK YOU!

I went to Chelsea to take a used truck for a test drive. I called Chris this morning and he got me set up with an appointment the very same day. My appointment was at 3:00 and by 3:30 I was being spoken to about the truck’s problems. He was extremely honest and concise about the issues with the truck. He literally saved me thousands of dollars due to his inspection. He recommended not purchasing the vehicle and I agreed with him. Go here for any and all of your automotive needs. Chris and his team will take care of you the way any great business should.

Such nice courteous people who know their craft. I took in my premium electric vehicle at this place and felt comforted to hear that they frequently work on R8, Lexus and Ferraris amongst other vehicles. The guys were very nice and they did the job really well. I was there just for a tire fix but seeing the thorough nature of their job and overall treatment I'll be returning to them for anything that should come up. Good people and good work.

These guys are honest and professional. I work in a service department and know what stand up service looks like and these guys are it. Even though they weren't able to do the repairs needed, being that my car has a rare motor that no one can find parts for, they were upfront and honest and we're willing to go above and beyond to help where they could. Would strongly recommend this shop. Drew is the man.
