Nathan Norem, DPM

I had seen two of the specialists at Ortho IL and both wanted to do surgery to fuse my big toe. I was in lots of pain every day for a couple of years but wasn't ready for surgery. Someone suggested I go see Dr. Norem and on that visit he asked how cortisone worked on it and I informed him that neither of the previous Doctors suggested it. He gave me a simple shot and the pain went away. I've been getting shots occasionally for the past few years to control the pain and I'm so grateful that I met Dr. Norem. He's also super cool, if you're having foot pain...Limp in to see him and I'm sure you'll be happy you did.

I went to Dr. Norem for a toe fungus. Everything else was fine. Within 6 months or seeing him every other month I had several ingrown toenails and was in a lot of pain. When I saw him he was always in such a rush and could barely get him to fix any of my issues. I finally switched to another Dr. and she had to dig out piece's of ingrown toenails that Dr Norem had left behind. The new Dr took her time with me and took care of all of my issues caused by Dr Norem. I now have no more ingrown toenails and would never go back to Dr. Norem!
