The Carpet Barn

We are thrilled with our new flooring and kitchen backsplash from Carpet Barn! We had been shopping around Asheville and Waynesville, but the knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff, vast selection, reasonable pricing, and amazing follow-up were impressive at Carpet Barn. We made the shift from worn 16 year old carpet in our bedrooms and loft to maple wood floors, upgraded our carpet in a hallway and stairwell, and replaced our damaged wood floor in the kitchen with a stone-look ceramic tile, and added a kitchen backsplash. Jared and Brandon worked with me and my own design ideas, helping to make the perfect selections. The owner Tom, and entire staff are focused on customer satisfaction and made it all a pleasure.
They scheduled our installation around our bedroom furniture delivery in October and the beautiful backsplash was completed after I ordered a custom copper tile in December. The craftsmen who installed the flooring: Marty, Eddie, and Roberto did a fabulous job and were delightful, completing their work with great skill and in a timely manner. Eddie Bishop's tile work on the kitchen floor and backsplash was artistry at its best. Thanks to everyone at the Carpet Barn. We are happy customers and highly recommend this family owned company!!

I had such a pleasant experience with the Carpet Barn folks! Friendly and patient, Matt helped me select the right vinyl plank for my bathroom. I visited the showroom on a Saturday, Matt came on Wednesday to measure my space, and Peter and his crew came the next week on Friday to install the new floor. The total project was completed in less than two weeks at a cost significantly less than the big box store. I am pleased with my new floor and highly recommend the Carpet Barn!!

We love our new laminate flooring! Brandon was very patient and informative during our multiple visits to pick out the perfect product. I can't remember the guy's name who installed it, but he was from Ireland and he was fantastic! My husband had several requests about the installation method and he cheerfully and expertly followed his wishes. We could not have had a more positive experience. Walking in the doors my wife and I were greeted warmly and made to feel welcomed. We were not sure what we wanted or needed for our family room carpeting. We had a rough idea on sizes we needed. We asked about remnants. Unfortunately our room was kinda a little bit larger than available remnants. We had an idea of style and color. Since we were still working and painting the room. We made several visits and finally made our minds up and had a date to pickup the carpet. Since I own Dry Master Carpet Care and do repair work. My son and I decided to take on the big responsibility and install the carpet ourselves. Now we know why Tom's installers are so busy. We rented a uhaul and picked up our carpet cut to the sizes we needed. The warehouse crew were very helpful in loading up our carpet and pad I ordered an upgraded pad which was well worth it. Our room looks awesome with the work we did and The Carpet Barn carpet installed! Thank you for the experience we received from all staff.

They have the best selection of In stock LVT around. Make sure you ask for the Kraus LVT, it has a diamond finish. It is super durable and very easy to install! The customer service is great too! They are very nice and easy to work with!

The Carpet Barn recently removed old carpet and vinyl and installed new floors at our cabin. They did a wonderful job! They moved all the furniture, removed the old floors, and laid the new. Everything was well taken care of and looks wonderful- the trim, new floors, they even replaced all of the furniture exactly as it was. They were also so helpful in the process of picking out our flooring. They were friendly and super easy to work with. We will definitely be using them again!

I absolutely love my new kitchen vinyl tile and bedroom carpet. Jenn helped me pick out quality materials that fit my budget and color scheme.. My installer, Danny Bacon was professional and detail in every way. His suggestion for using diagonal cut for transition strip between kitchen and living room gave my kitchen a fresh new look. All trim was cut and installed perfectly. I highly recommend The Carpet Barn for your flooring. They offer quality material at a fair price.

I was renovating a bathroom and my general contractor recommended The Carpet Barn, as they have a good selection of tile. He was right! My selection process was made much easier by a very helpful and knowledgeable employee. I was very impressed with the staff and the price of the tile I selected. We recently purchased a mountain home in Maggie Valley. We had all of the old carpet removed and had vinyl plank installed. It is gorgeous and Merida Flooring Installation did such a professional job that went way above our expectations. Thank you to that team and to our salesman, Jared who listened to exactly what we wanted and walked us straight over to it. Such a easy and enjoyable shopping experience. When I was choosing my flooring I was shown only what I was looking for, my questions were answered, information was provided, and the sales person was easy going, nice to talk to, seemed to enjoy his work.

I show up to pick my flooring up, they have to move pallets to get to it, they pull the order, wrap it tightly and load it on the truck in just a few minutes.

When they realize I don't have straps, they LOAN me straps. They CARED about my safety. People, this is the place for flooring. Excellent selection, excellent service, excellent prices, good people.
