This place is always great as is the service. Their prices are more than fair for the portion size they serve and the food itself is always good. My favorite here is Country Fried Steak with Mashed Taters & Gravy. If your in the Laurel area around lunchtime, it is well worth the drive out Highway 84 West to the Calhoun Community to eat here.

They have the BEST open face roast beef po-boy I've ever had!! (And other great tasting food!) Their prices are reasonable and the cashiers are always friendly. However, even when it's not "busy", it still takes a long time to get your food.

This was an out of the beaten path. Just like the old tastee freeze restaurants used to be. Good food for a reasonable price. If I lived here, would go again. Great cheese 🧀 curds and onion rings. If I could would give more than 5 stars.

Staff is very friendly. Food is always good and there catfish is the best in Calhoun. Actually I could say it's the best in Laurel.

You must stop here and eat! Try the corn nugget fritter thingies, they about the size of tater tots and are reminiscent of swet cream corn in flavor! Great place to eat alone or with friends and family!

Mr. T's is essentially a tradition. I remember the seniors always ate lunch here in high school. It's a place where you can always get good food and great service.
