The Freezer

I drive 30 minutes out of my way just for a Coney dog. It can get pricey fast but so worth it. Other than the older super cranky woman, the younger ladies there are always incredibly kind and accommodating.

Came here as a Kid after little league games. I live out of town now but have made this one of my favorite motorcycle ride destinations. Good menu to choose from, ample outdoor seating, and always friendly service. Motorcycle friendly parking.

My Pecan Delight (Sundae) was Great ! but next time i'll try the Tasty Burgers because i heard they are " Slappin' " 😁

Good ice cream. I also like how you can buy other food items, and the environment makes it feel like you are up north, relaxing 😌. The staff is friendly, and there is more to buy then just ice cream, like a burger and fries 🍟

Great local soft serve ice cream shop. I enjoyed the caramel sundae. Prices were reasonable (it's cash only) and the portions were large.

They were kickin orders out quick tonight. Probably the fastest I've ever gotten them.

Love this place for soft serve ice cream. My personal favorite in the area. Staff is always pleasant and quick getting your order considering how busy they typically are. The only drawback here is the parking. It is limited, but there is a bowling alley right next door with plenty of parking. If you go, try the banana Royale in a cup (sinfully delicious).

My husband bought a coney & breaded mushrooms, they were sooo good!! Plus shared a medium strawberry sundae, it was huge! All taste great! Came from Saginaw and will be back!!! ;)

One of the big highs of our year is when Freezer opens each year. Wonderful Coney Dogs and my wife loves their olive burger. The lemon custard ice cream is wonderful and alone is a great draw.

Just stopped and had a couple flurries and they were awesome! First time in st charles, we will be back! Good to see businesses doing it right!

Freezer ice cream in St Charles is awesome. Definitely worth the drive. Walk the rail trail then get an ice cream cone. Great combination.

We come almost every week and love the soft serve ice cream. The serving sizes are much bigger than you think they will be 😍
